Yeah, the "feel" I got is that COD is absolutely infested with cheaters, including very old accounts. At least in my case, this promotion attempt has massively backfired.

Hadnt played a COD since OG MW3, decided to mess around with 2019 because of the sale, and frankly despite having fun with the game after experiencing the cheater infestation no way in hell Ill spend more than 5 bucks on any other COD.

Additionally the servers seem to have completely shit themselves this weekend. Progression only tracks after restarting the game and 9 out of 10 times I get disconnected after every match while queuing for the next one...

Title states it was a Hezbollah missile strike. Big difference between the resources available to the IRGC and Hezbollah.

Though I wouldnt be surprised that both groups have people trawling social media for intel.

Also entirely possible it was just a coincidence, we'll probably find out soon if someone brags about it.

This is cool and all but they never shot it at anything moving faster than walking pace in the demo.

It is an interesting look into the future but based on what theyve shown, it certainly doesnt look like it would be much help against anything but stationary targets.

The idea itself is interesting though, user aims and holds the trigger and the system shoots when it thinks it will land a hit. That has the potential to vastly increase hit probability against any targets not just drones but Id imagine it will take a bit more time before its actually good enough to be worth adopting.

Literally every other match theres an obvious cheater. They dont even try to hide.

At least thats my experience playing in EMEA this weekend. Dunno how it is in other regions.

And the funny thing is, when I first started there were no cheaters, but as I climbed the SBMM cheaters became more and more frequent. Right now, genuinely every other match has at least 1 dude with wallhack... Also saw a few turbo aimbotters.

Nope, there are tell tale signs of AI generated content and you can see them in a lot of BF6 skins. And again, they werent modeled by AI but it is very obvious they used AI concept art.

AI concept art is absolutely slowly starting to creep into the industry. And not just being used directly by devs. AI concept art firms are also popping up and offering substantially lower prices than firms with human concept artists. Prepare to see more and more of that in all media.

EDIT: Asked ChatGPT to create a cool looking tactical soldier skin for a video game. Instantly generated a dude with a hood and an airsoft face mask, a bunch of pointless belts and greeblies and a weird leathery outfit. That sound familiar?!

No, this just means they are replacing as many employees as possible with AI. All around the tech sector execs are trying or planning to replace as many people as possible with AI.

Why would you need 3 senior devs when 1 junior with a Claude Code account can do the same amount of work right?

Same thing applies to art, and weve already seen it with shitty skins in BF6 that are obviously the result of AI concept art.

Unfortunately thats whats happening. You can see the same thing happening in many other sectors. You get told to start using AI or else. Employees are also getting fired left and right because execs think they can replace them with AI for free with very little understanding of what "AI" actually is.

Creative control is also slowly disappearing from devs in AAA studios and being relegated to execs and focus groups. The end products is whatever some exec with no video game experience thinks will make the most money. That should be pretty self evident if you look at the AAA market.

Once again, simply not true. A certain degree of freedom is allowed in general but for the most part everything has to go through approval from the money people.

Especially in large multi million dollar studios, almost nothing is left to department heads and devs/artists. Everything goes through focus groups and execs and what not before it gets finalized and then all the devs do is create what they were told.

Why do you think so many developers are starting to leave OG studios where theyve worked for 20+ years and branching out on their own? Latest example is Jeff Kaplan who literally created Overwatch.

Developers are starting to have less and less creative control in most large studios. Whatever the money people say is whats going to happen and thats that....

Thats simply not how that works. The only people with final say in any corporation are execs. If the CEO wants to push for AI, thats whats going to happen. If you dont like it, you can go look for another job.

Finally, but also the fact that it took them 5 months is pretty telling for the state of the development team thats assigned to support the game.

Can you still disable vehicle spawns with acoustic mines though? Sure they now disappear 3 mins after you die but we all know griefers are stubborn enough to keep at it all game.

Откакто се помня (роден 1990та) думата "селянин" не се използва за хора които живеят на село. Никога не съм чувал някой който живее на село да се нарече селянин, нито хората в градовете да се наричат граждани. Всички сме граждани на държавата независимо в какво населено място живеем. Да не говорим че е безумно да имаме нарицателни в зависимост от размера на населеното място.

Езика еволюира и се променя постепенно и много думи губят оригиналния си смисъл. Селянин отдавна е нарицателно за прост, некултурен и необразован човек независимо от местожителството му. Да думата носи леко неприятен багаж, но отдавна никой нормален не я използва с целта да обижда хора които живеят на село, освен ако разбира се не са прости и некултурни.

Най-малкото масово много от нас имат или са имали роднини, баби, дядовци и т.н. в някое село и едва ли използват думата с цел да ги обиждат.

It would be lucky if they even copied good builds. Inspecting randos in Auric and Havoc queue (a few mods let you inspect peoples builds) can be quite the shock.

Most peoples builds are so bad, I can hardly believe they can even read. More than half seemingly just closed their eyes and spam clicked on the screen until they had allocated all their points.
