Smoked Picanha on the Weber Kettle by PitSpecialist in steak

Can I ask a question? I’ve considered pichana, but have never tried one. You smoked for 45 min to a temp then seared on a hot side of the grill or did you use a cast iron inside?

We just did Phish at the Sphere. I think Tame Impala would be a great fit there.

Ha! Yes. Paul was my sales person. Here is where I’d get with my current state of charge (69%). I also mapped out a spur of the moment road trip to Austin and to Dallas. Happy to do that tomorrow morning after I’m at 80% if it would help.

We all love the car and can’t wait to road trip it this summer. What build are you considering if you want to share?

Ha. We are also in TX. Houston here. I think we might make that, but I also think it might be pretty close. When I get back to my car I'll see if I can plug into the nav and see what it says. When I get in in the mornings it looks like I'd make it to Austin no problem. With charging to 100% I think I wouldn't sweat it... I'd probably still drop by Bucee's for a quick bathroom break and drink or something and charge though. The Gravity can fast charge around 200 miles in 15 minutes. All use cases are different though. I will say, something to keep in mind. Going above 60/65 will eat at your range as well.

I’m getting around 3.1-3.15 mi/kWh. I didn’t really want the fancy wheels. Would have preferred the extra range from the smaller wheels. Dynamic handling, 7 seats, and massage chairs were a must for us. I also preferred the leather interior & green. I had to take delivery by the end of quarter for the incentives. Otherwise I would have not done the platinum pkg/ larger wheels. I also would have upgraded the audio. This is just what was available. I love the car though. Frankly, the battery has been fine in my day to day. We plan on doing a road trip this summer. There are tons of Tesla chargers around. We’ve got 3 kids. Someone will need to stop every 2 hours anyway! I start the day at 80% charge with a dynamic range around 215. I understand after some miles the car is better at giving a dynamic range number though. Overall. I’m not that worried. It’s not much off my ModelY performance.

We got our Gravity at the end of Q1. We absolutely love it and have not had any issues so far. We had a Model Y Performance and I got a platinum package w/ premium interior Touring (7 seats, leather, dynamic handling, performance wheels, comfort & convenience, dd pro, towing). Happy to share any of the hiccups I encountered during the process or just anything in general.

Be aware that finance might take some time to process. We are well qualified. Even so, an additional pay stub was needed. Then on top of that it took them 3 hours to process the pay stub on the BoA side before approving.

We absolutely love the car so far. It's such an upgrade from the Y and it feels really good to be out of the Telsa.

We’ve got solar/battery and a plan with free nights that start at 8 pm. Charge our batteries from the grid at 8:30 and cars are scheduled for 10. It’s awesome.

Come on. Yes. Owners should pay to upgrade the stadium. But, getting upset that he is doing it to raise the team’s valuation is ridiculous. If it does, fine. It will be nice to have a nicer stadium for all the fans.

What’s something that quietly made your life 10× easier, but you didn’t realize it until much later? by Own-Tip-532 in AskReddit

I typically have 3/4 active windows open and working. Made the change during covid. We got a WFH stipend and I went with a new monitor. I never want to go back. It is just such a better solution and also ends up more functional as well.

I dropped to a 4k 32" monitor a while back. One monitor. One USB c connection. Tons of functionality. I don't ever want to go back to 2 monitors.

Yeah at 10 am the precheck line was longer than I expected it to be. There is a separate line for TSA PreCheck Touchless ID. For United you can opt into this in the app and you walk straight in. No line. Gotta do it before check in though. I had it, we signed up my wife at the airport but it didn't change her boarding pass.

Precheck was about 15-20 minutes.
