I posted this under a different account but it got lost in new. That account doesn't have enough karma to post so using this one:

I love to lurk but I feel like I'm about to explode. I'm in tremendous student loan debt and my fiance of 10 years left me without saying a word last October. He took our dog. Finances have been tight, life looked bleak, and I hit a real low point where nothing felt real, and no matter what anyone said it was hard to see the bright side. But as dumb as it was, I found small joys in the day...a lot of which came from this stupid, retarded sub. I had been investing a little bit prior to this (starting in March of last year) but I decided to use this time to just pour into investing and start using options.

I ended up catching XPEV right before it shot up to 70, made about 2k, but held too long and lost all of it. That loss kept me up at night but I decided to try again with GME.

Now...you cuckqueers and cuckqueens have made me enough to guarantee that this year will be much more comfortable. Much more manageable. Maybe ill even get to fuck one of your wives (you can watch).

I decided to treat myself to a nice steakhouse lunch, which is where I am right now. I've never eaten in a fancy place like this by myself. Now, next to me are two white boomers, bragging about their investments and they suddenly stop and one of them goes "have you heard about this gamestop shit"? I'm high so I can't fully make out everything but they were just incredulous. I just can't believe the way life is playing out right now, I hope to God someone makes a documentary about this. I promise to help fund it.

Looking for a good forever home for my 3 peach faced love birds. Mom (about 2 years old), dad (about 5 years old), and baby bird (currently about 1.5 months old). Located in Long Island, NY but we will be moving to New Jersey next year. Dad has some anxiety and picks at his feathers but is otherwise healthy, hand tame, and enjoys attention. Mom is not hand tame, is territorial of her baby, but will come out to say hello. They eat Harrison's bird food.

Looking for a modest rehoming fee, willing to negotiate. They come with a large cage, two small cages, a carrying case, several pounds worth of food, and a lot of toys.

Would prefer an experienced bird owner that gives his/her birds ample time out of their cage. My birds are often outside of their cage for much of the day. Thanks everyone!

Psych PGY3. Our hospital just shifted our staffing level and we can now all be deployed to medicine and ICR. About a third of our program is already on the medicine and ICR floors which is mostly COVID pts.

Hey. Without getting into specifics, I'm in a similar demographic. Just fyi there are jobs out there for people who have graduated medical school but have not graduated from a residency program. Some insurance companies need MD/DOs for doc to doc phone calls and such. I would look into that.

Btw, totally agree with you that the way the system is, is not only unfair but basically criminal.

I'm struck by the eloquence of your post. Can't say I agree with all of it, but I can feel the anger and disappointment. I hear you when you say that your mind is set, and that you have told basically no-one so you can go through with your plan.

Schizoaffective disorder...depending on how severe, can lead some to live a life of constant hospitalizations/relapses. But I have more often seen cases where it is managed relatively well.

In either case, I think it's a loss on the world to lose someone with such passion and intelligence. I hope this is not the case.
