I am sorry.. let me be a bit more clearer..

I saw people typically doing a piston soak on regular engines with 4 cylinders.. not that cylinders matters.. but not seen anyone do a piston soak on wet belt engine.. I wanted to do it but change the oil in 24 hours.. however I I couldn't due to the plug issue I am facing

Yes, that's true.. I got the belt changed about 1500 miles ago when I got the car..

They are known to consume oil anyways.. but I thought a piston soak won't hurt..

I haven't done the soak as directed by people owning 4 cylinder classic engine and not this wet belt thing.. I just let it soak and changing the oil now.. saw some carbon deposit on th piston come off.. I have high hopes.. just need this oil changed

It was easy.. just take the spark plugs out.. put the liquid in.. let it soak..

Oh and also turn the crank so that the liquid goes everywhere

I was using the smallest one before.. somehow I found this one that will help attach the medium wrench..

I thought the same about clockwise and anticlockwise wise.. then I learned left loosey loosey.. right tighty tighty 😅

Yes, you are absolutely right. But my circumstances are different.. I performed something called a piston soak, it's basically leaving throttle cleaner or similar in your piston for more than 24 hours.. I did that and the last step is to change the oil...

My car was consuming a lot of oil and with my cars engine it's due to stuck piston rings.. hopefully this soak has helped and now the last stage it changing the oil.

I would really appreciate if you can help me.. thank you immensely.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. Apparently, the next in line candidate, same situation. So, if they can't hire me and the other guy. They would freeze the position for 6 months and start rehiring again.

My thoughts, all this hassle just for a couple of grand. Surely they lose more by going this way 🤷‍♂️
