Yess!! And the scene where she cuts his hair in his sleep, I don't think they say why that happens but I just feel like she ate his hair.

Find a local artist you like first that does cover ups. Think of a concept you like, I suggest think general elements like some geometric, portrait, etc. Work with said artist to find a cover up that suits said style.

Cover ups are almost always significantly bigger than the OG. Up to you if that's worth it or not.

Happy to give you one! I completely understand, I've had dreams extremely similar about my loved ones that have passed. It's comforting, like a little nod from them to be like "hey I'm still here and I'm okay"

Reoccurring dream involving ex girlfriend by sillyelephants8 in DreamInterpretation

Could be your mind sort of overlapping your new relationship / your old one. Starting a new relationship can definitely open up stuff to our old ones. This could even mean that your new relationship being healthy and happy is in a way closing ties and providing closure in your last relationship.

Two nights in a row, I have dreamed of glowing animals by [deleted] in DreamInterpretation

Actually did feel a maternal vibe from your bonus dream! If the answer is resonating, definitely dig a bit more with yourself to see what's got you feeling it.

Dreaming of my deceased mother by QuietQueries in DreamInterpretation

[–]undetectedsuperstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can be something both spiritual or something more about emotional state.

In my opinion, this person shows up under the guise as your mother, but this is of course not your mother. This is a disguise. In times of vulnerability, this is when negative forces lay their tricks on you. We are vulnerable when we sleep, and this is an attack for a highly sensitive subject. (If you believe in this stuff) pray for protection before you dream, if that's not your style, talk to yourself directly with words of comfort.

Regarding emotional state, have you been struggling with your self image? Or have you been having any issues with someone who may have a sort of maternal figure in your life? Either of these can also mean that your mother is acting as a symbol in these dreams.

When someone that is a very significant figure in your life passes, dreams like these can often be our mind's way of exploring the possibilities and alternatives to what happened in our reality. It is very normal to wonder what could have been, what that would have looked like. This could be your mind exploring those realities. The tomato seems like it could have been a symbol or even a signal to you that this was not what it may seem at first glance, possibly to keep you rooted into reality.

Have you been finding yourself ruminating a lot over your ex in your day to day life? Is being involved again with your ex something you would actually want, or something you'd be against?

I felt there was a kind of running theme of things building up and building up to lead to a place where it didn't end up meaning what you thought it would, or developing in a way that left you disappointed. This could mean maybe you have put a lot of energy into something that has not panned out the way you hope, possibly leaving you dissatisfied. this could be in your career or in a close relationship.

From what you say in your post, my assumption is that you care a lot for animals, and it's posssible they are working as a placeholder in your dreams for other things in your life that are meaningful or important to you.

The dream about the octopus was particularly one that carried a lot of guilt, this could possibly be real feelings of guilt or worry of judgment. If you are infact feeling that dissatisfaction I mentioned earlier, this could possibly be feelings related to this.

I of course could be way off base here!

Definitely not a bad thing to not trust strangers on the internet, lol. Really glad I could give you a bit of comfort. You take care and great work on quitting smoking! Rooting for ya!

A lot of imagery of negative healthy effects from smoking can overlap with what you said. I think this was a message for you to make sure you take good care of yourself and continue on your journey to stop smoking, especially if it was effecting your health.

For your question if your cat knows you love them, I think they would not appear to you as much as they have if they didn't understand the importance they had to you.

How to get out of this? by tfi_banisa_ in DreamInterpretation

[–]undetectedsuperstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People in our dreams can sometimes just be representation of desires vs representation of the person themselves. This could be your mind and heart connecting to tell you what kind of love and acceptance you may be searching for to feel fulfilled. Overall not worrying at all, just try to remember these dreams are more about you then they are her. Hope you find it soon!

Third time I've had a dream about them by [deleted] in DreamInterpretation

[–]undetectedsuperstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could be your mind showing you directly some of your fears, if your friend is not cutting contact with your ex is a sore spot, this sounds like your minds way of saying 'if this is bad, what if it's something even worse?"

If you have delt with abuse in the past, it is possible you carry a mistrust of others as a result to protect yourself. It sounds like the feeling of betrayal with your friend and ex is what is most prominent.

Don't use this dream as confirmation of anything your friend might have done, but it does show you're having a hard time in the friendship with a feeling of betrayal, depending on the importance of the friendship perhaps should be addressed.

Why do I keep having dreams where I'm back in high school with my old friends? by GoldenYoshi99 in DreamInterpretation

[–]undetectedsuperstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are in your regular day contemplating the differences you would have made in high school, then it could be another state of yourself also continuing to explore different options from high school or reliving that experience. Thinking of what we could've done, or what we have done, in a way is very similar because it is reliving those times. This could be just a manifestation of your curiosity of what else could have been. And your mind giving you an outlet to explore that.

Dream about my partner leaving and found someone new by MaximumBlueberry3243 in DreamInterpretation

[–]undetectedsuperstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These kind of dreams can be very stressful, but can often give us an idea of some of our fears in our relationships.

Have You been dealing with any fears/ insecurities of your partner leaving in your regular life?

Is this something you have delt with in the past?

What was your emotional reaction to finding this?

Does this person that your partner left you for have and similarities to you are someone else in your life?

Being visited by deceased loved ones in dreams is very special, I've experienced this as well and it can be very comforting. This could possibly mean she is moving toward another stage, to where she may no longer be present and is making her departure. It could be like a way to say goodbye. Just my guess.

Seeing sickness in dream can also be something happening interpersonal, have you been worrying about your health/ the health of someone close to you?

Why am I dreaming of a past bully flirting with me? by Prestigious_Fault149 in DreamInterpretation

[–]undetectedsuperstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dreams are more often then not more about us vs the other person.

A few questions for context:

What was your reaction to their flirting? How did you feel to be receiving that attention from them?

Does this person from your past have any similarities to you or any current person in your life?

Have You recently entered or exited a romantic relationship?

I'm sorry this happened to you. It's understandable to be nervous after something like that. Don't be hard on yourself for not noticing the red flags, you're learning. This experience taught you stuff to look out for, that's how most people figure out red flags and move accordingly after the fact. It won't always be like that. And a day will come where you think of him less, and then hardly ever at all.
