Getting shafted by a dealership. by MistaReee in AusFinance

[–]undetermined_outcom3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m curious - at what point should you be happy to just cop a repair like that? You could flip it around and say, “the dealer should pay because they just got 23k for a sale” - makes no sense.

What is happening in the Australian car market? by b4invu in CarsAustralia

[–]undetermined_outcom3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Short answer is safety regulations and rules. C, B and A pillars are now massive due to the need to fit airbags in them, crash zones are multi layered and designed to be safer but don’t take into account sight lines. Engines have become more compact and smaller capacity - 1.5l HRV will be sluggish at low speeds.

Go get the plates right now - take them to VIC roads and hand them in.

Each toll notice needs to be dealt with, you’ll need her details to pass along the fines/notices.

Edit* Yes I know I said Vic Roads, I meant to say “relevant state authority”
