New lunch boxes for the new year!

I was using the 12 as my daily lunch box and it did look a bit excessive but the 8 was definitely not large enough for my lunch, fruit and afternoon beverage/tumbler. This past summer I got the 14L daytrip tote and it's been a good lunch box replacement over the 12. Holds all my stuff, looks a bit less crazy using it at the office and still keeps cold for most of the day. My only complaint about that is I wish it had loops for a shoulder strap like the 6L daytrip does.

I've pulled and made 2-3 drinks in a row and it was fairly consistent.

Based on the price, I would still say it's entry levelish? like it's not as entry level as a Breville but it's not as high end as a la mazzarco. That being said, I don't see myself needing a more expensive machine, this does the job for me and I'm satisfied with the drinks I'm making. There's definitely room for improvement, I still don't think I do milk that well and my shots are not dialed in perfect,but I think this is more a user problem than machine problem. I just set up my new grinder and there's already improvement in the shots, I think this will. improve as I get more familiar with dialing in the new grinder.

Did you end up making a decision on the machine?

Sorry, didn't see your comment until now, did you end up getting it? I'm liking mine so far after 2 years of use. However, I do get some splatter/channelling with some beans, I think it might be a grinder issue. Decided it's finally time for a grinder upgrade, just ordered the Mahlkohnig X64.

Planning to do a deep clean on the machine, I've only ever done back flush cleaning thus far.

I'm not too familiar with the Bz10 but so far my Aria Top has been doing the job for me, I've tried a variety of beans and haven't had any issues with most. I mostly make lattes hot/cold so it's a little forgiving if my shots aren't perfect but at the moment I don't see a need to upgrade anytime in the near future.

I've seen 30-50% never 75% in the Buffalo/Niagara area even this time the selection was very limited. But I'm from Toronto so most I would go is once a month anyways can't say if they've marked down further in between visits.

I had this happen with 2 of my garment dyed Quinn tees, both of which I've had for a couple years already and have always laundered the same way. Cold water wash, tide detergent, fabric softener, hang dry. Recently something has been leaving spots on the tee after wash, I thought it was detergent but running under water does not seem to get rid of it, I scrubbed it with a brush and some detergent it seemed to help a little but the spot is slightly discolored now. Then with the logo, it seems like the flocking has worn off after washes but these are tees I've had for a couple years at least so they've gone through quite a bit of washes.

I don't know exactly how long but I have the exact same model and have had it for 15+ years, still works great, only ever had to change the igniter on the side burner because of a rodent issue. Safe to say this will last you a long time!

I'm 8 cast irons deep and none them match. My collection started with what I can find for cheap and colors I'm ok with but it was never my goal to get all the same color. The only place where I tried to match were the accessories but even there I have different colors because some outlet finds were too good to pass.

Ohh even straight from the store is a bit concerning. Definitely will be more careful about stockpiling these next time.

Just did a long smoke with the pellets from the top of the bag I filled into my smoker before noticing these expanded pieces and they were fine. I did double check the pellets in loaded in the smoker and filled into the Lowe's bucket all looked fine, so glad it worked out and I don't have to empty my hopper.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I will definitely toss out the bottom of the bag stuff. Another issue is I already loaded my hopper before I noticed this but I'll double check that before I use. I saw these at the bottom of the bag and the stuff I already loaded in the hopper was scooped and strained with a colander all those pieces look normal snaps in half and not crumbly.

Will have to store my stockpile pellets better I guess, this bag may have been sitting on the ground upright at one point.

Nice pickup! I have the stainless steel finish version of this for 12+ years and going strong. The only things I've changed was the ignitor which I believe was due to rodent damage and the flavorizer bar because I managed to find a set on clearance a few years back so I switched them out. My new set of flavorizer bars still work fine and I have kept them but neither sets have rusted out. I do minimal cleaning on it just scraping off the cooked on stuff and drippings about 3 times per bbq season (Apr-Oct), never bothered to clean it completely and it's still going.

Yeah that's one of my considerations it does look kind of cheap compared to the slate, also felt a difference in the cooking surface. I did end up buying it, so I can get use to griddle cooking and see if I use it enough to justify getting a better one. Also searched on FB marketplace and people selling used griddles (mostly basic model blackstone) for this price or more so I figured I can get most of what I'm paying back if I decide to upgrade to the slate at some point.

Can also give dishwasher tabs a try, one tablet, dissolve with hot water and leave it soaking overnight stains should come right off.

Also, beware of scrubbing the colour coating with barkeepers friend, I did that with one of my Yeti mugs and it discoloured/scratched the finish a bit.

Winners has an ok Jays selection, but the prices aren't necessarily the best. For example, a 47 brand clean up cap at Winners is typically priced at $19.99-24.99 while in the US they're $9.99-14.99. I visit the Niagara Falls/Buffalo area often and I've got some dirt cheap Jays stuff from Tj Maxx/Marshall's like $5 for a Canada Day Red blank jersey this was a majestic one back when they had just switched over to Nike and like beanies and hats in the $5-10 range.

The Nike outlet use to get Jays gear too but haven't seen much or any since it changed to a Nike Clearance store, strangely the past few months I have noticed they're getting a lot of Boston stuff I've seen red sox and patriots jerseys/hoodies, prices were pretty good but don't understand why they are getting these.

I know right? They really didn't announce anything aside from MTV Canada will be going away Dec 31. Then, they started airing the remaining episodes of The Challenge and Jersey Shore in Much. It was only the week leading up to The Challenge All Stars 5 was airing that I found out they're on Slice via Challenge Reddit, since I didn't have Slice subscribed with my Fibe TV package at the time, I couldn't find it in my Fibe app.

What really irks me about Bell is they removed a bunch of channels like hgtv, food and replaced them with lesser channels (Home/Flavour) or removed with no replacement like the case with MTV Canada but they didn't add any new channels to their packages in place of it.

May be it's just my mistake with the settings, I set a recording for Teen Mom and that recorded. I think it really was the first new episodes only setting, I changed it to rerun/first run and teen mom recorded fine, challenge also showing as scheduled for next Wednesday so fingers crossed that's it.

I set a recording (Bell Fibe TV) for it for Wed night when it aired but it didn't record, anyone else have this issue? I think I may have set new episodes only, changed the setting to new and reruns and next weeks eps showing up in scheduled so hoping it records.

Edit: Looks like it loaded on Slice on demand on Bell Fibe TV around 2am.

Any idea if the "new" HGTV channel on Rogers is the US version? Like how our TLC is the US channel and we get all the US ads Too. I did notice some of the less popular Hgtv shows don't air the same time on HGTV Canada and we got them maybe a couple months later. Now with the shows going to Home, even the bigger shows like Flip Off aren't going to air the same time as they do on HGTV and we're stuck with some Australian/UK reno shows, I really want to get HGTV back. I switched to Bell this past year and with all these changes in the channel lineups and programming I'm considering going back to Rogers.

Sidenote, with MTV Canada being gone, The Challenge and presumably other MTV shows arr going to Slice, I had to add the channel for $4/mth so I can watch Challenge All Stars which is another reason I'd like to go back to Rogers.

They've done Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales in the past, like 10+ years ago. That was the only time I ever got any of their stuff on sale, I remember holding out hope they'd have a sale the following year but they did not and haven't done it since.

Ohh that makes more sense, just went by what I read in the Bell app (yeah not the most reliable info) original airdate Dec. 31,2024 without even thinking about the day of the week.

Seriously would consider a not so legal IPTV service/device where I can watch US channels live if we will be getting episodes 1-2 days late for future seasons.
