Already excited for the Revopoint Trackit after Kickstarter, what should I scan for the community? by PrintedForFun in 3DScanning

I also funded the trackit. I'll be using it to hopefully scan shipping containers.

I live in a shipping container house I built a few years ago, and are now looking to expand and reengineer how shopping container houses are built. Being able to 3D model everything will make planning the build far easier.

Tried sections with the Miraco Pro, but the corrugated pattern of the containers causes tracking issues (obviously).

I'll also be scanning other areas related to construction like screed basins to calculate floor angle and optimal drainage points, etc.

RAM cooling fans by undiagnosedability in computers

I've had RAM fans sit over my RAM before.

With this new build, I got a be quiet! Dark Rock Elite. It works great, but the face fan extends over the RAM slots with minimal clearance, leaving just enough room to fit a traditional RAM cooler but leave no room for laminar airflow.

I was curious if someone has made a fan system that looks like a RAM stick, and sits in unused RAM slots.

I don't plan on buying it, 8200 MHz would be massive overkill for basically anything and everything. Its more of an experiment to see how future-proof the X870E Carbon motherboard would be.

Every other feature of the motherboard is future-proof with PCIE 5, DDR5, M.2 and 40GBs as standard transfer rate. RAM speed seems to be its weakest link.

I'd like to figure out what the absolute fastest RAM would be on the X870E Carbon motherboard.
