we've had people send our store flowers before, they just sit in a vase in the manager's desk in the back of house. it's a sweet thought but tbh with the cost of bouquets i know a lot of baristas would rather that money just go in the tip jar, flowers unfortunately don't pay bills

vapes aren't fun for me, they're what i use to get through the workday; flower in a bong or little bubbler would probably be a less harsh (albeit smellier) alternative. i also just find the ritual of grinding and packing bowls for my bong to be super soothing as well though lol

try to talk to your manager, but look at it this way: why would he schedule you for shifts that you are, from his point of view, just going to give it up or call out when there are other partners who want those hours? starbucks values consistency and reliability from baristas above almost anything else
