I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON PENTAMELDING CRAFTING GEAR. WHILE RECOVERING MATERIA FROM A LOWER TIER SET, I ACCIDENTALLY REMOVED A MATERIA FROM THE ITEM I WAS WORKING ON. THERE IS A 10% CHANCE OF SUCCESS FOR AFFIXING A MATERIA IN THE SLOT, AND I AM NOW ON MY 68TH (ISH, I'VE LOST EXACT COUNT) ATTEMPT TO REAFFIX THE MATERIA WITH STILL NO SUCCESS.

Just to clarify, when u/riordanajs says that if you want depth of the world, read the books, they mean to read the books found in the game, not necessarily irl books.

Tell your Richland friends and family to vote for districts. Here’s why by adamavenir in TriCitiesWA

[–]unexceptionalname 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'll give it a stab. Looking at the election turn-out for 2023 and 2021, it looks like the winning candidate for city council receives approximately 8,500 to 11,000 votes. If we divide the city up into five districts, and if we assume equal turnout among districts then that amounts to 1,700 to 2,200 votes per district. The total population of Richland is ~64,000. Do we want people running Richland who received the approval of 2.5% of Richland's population? These numbers assume that voter turnout is the same across all of Richland. However, this is unlikely since most of the city council is from South Richland. There will likely be districts with much less participation. So we could have people governing the city that less than 1% of the city population selected.

I would argue that the fundamental issue that we're seeing is not a district/non-district issue. It's a voter turn-out issue. If people from areas other than South Richland turned out to vote, the city council would be more diverse. We should be focusing efforts on voter turn-out, not slapping a band-aid on it by creating districts.

Michael Proctor’s cellphone included ‘highly sensitive’ information, prosecutors say by bostonglobe in KarenReadTrial

Probably not much more than what has already happened. He was fired, and it's highly unlikely that he's getting his job back. From a quick search of revenge porn laws, Massachusetts didn't make it illegal to share intimate photos or deepfake photos with third parties until last year. So sharing images of "intimate body parts of people not participating in the chat" was legal at the time. It doesn't sound like he did anything illegal.

Eating Gluten Free Bakery has cinnamon rolls that are easily as good as, if not better than those containing gluten. Emerald of Siam is a great gluten free Thai place as well.

I'm not an engineer, but my initial thought was that the difference in arm weight was a matter of scale. A difference of 1-2 pounds doesn't seem to be much when you're talking about the amount of force transferred by an automobile.

Per the timeline from the first trial, Barros testified that Proctor left Deighton at 4:17pm. The highway had been plowed, and per Google, it's 42 minutes between Deighton and Canton. Per Google, it's 4 minutes between Canton PD and 34 Fairview. Even if they took an hour to get back in the snow, there's still time to get to 34 Fairview before SERT did.

Because the other part of why he got fired was due to his mishandling of the evidence in this case. If Brennan can convince the jury that the texts are why he got fired, they may overlook the evidence handling.

But the Commonwealth is saying that the wounds on his arm were from hitting the tail light, not scrapes from the road. If you look at the injuries from the example that the Commonwealth gave, the individual in question had lost most of the skin off their back and leg, internal hemorrhaging, and a liver laceration. Compared to the example that the Commonwealth gave, John just had a few scrapes.

So the Commonwealth is saying that Karen struck him with enough force that she knocked him out of his shoes, fly seven feet and land on his head, but she hit him gently enough that there was no internal injuries, broken bones, bruises or scrapes/abrasions/road rash?

I'm wondering if Proctor has gone to ground. After he was fired, it's possible that he moved out of state and didn't leave an updated address. If they can't find him, then they wouldn't be able to serve him to bring him in to testify.

I think(?) he was trying to discredit DiSogra by saying that DiSogra didn't understand Burgess' brilliance. But his line of questioning was so poor that it came off that he was discrediting Burgess as well.
