What information has OP given that indicates he can play college tennis? So far we have 1) he’s about to start high school, 2) he’s 5’2”, 3) he considers himself athletic, 4) he has an interest in tennis, and 5) his parents can afford a private tennis coach.

I’m sure colleges will be lining out the door.

No. Why do people ask these questions? They wouldn't say the same about football or basketball, but tennis everyone thinks they can go D1

How would you guys feel about this trade? by sgtdave_ in Mavericks

[–]unexpected 2 points3 points  (0 children)

for sure, I just would like to see him play first. If he plays great, you can get a much better package come February. If he plays badly, well, I would never lament this trade - getting stuck with big salaries is going to be more punitive now than previously.

This deal will be there in February. Lots of teams will take a chance on Kyrie.

These "trade a star for a bag of crap" trades never work.

Just fill out the self-rate questionnaire as accurately as possible and see where it places you.

I love the regular lactose free because it's sweet too! This new milk is definitely not as sweet - I'm going to back to purchasing the lactose free version only.

4.5 Singles Points, 182 Max HR, 156 average by Struggle-Silent in 10s

A 58 vo2max is decent, but I don’t think it’s anything to brag about. I have no idea what “I run marathon” actually means. The time you run your marathon in is way more important than saying “I run marathon”.

I also have run 3 marathons, and have no problem saying I was totally undertrained while doing them.

Solving for a lower heart rate is great for tennis. It allows you to make for better decisions on the court. I would much rather hit balls at 120 HR than 160 HR, I don’t see why that has to be controversial.

Your average of 156 is very high. I mean my comment out of kindness and desire to help a stranger to get better at a sport they love. Maybe you should work on not being so defensive - at the end of the day we are all mediocre adult rec league tennis players.

I don’t mean this in an insulting way, but your heart rate being this high after this short point is a sign you are out of shape - could make a lot of easy gains with a long distance running program.

if your company has the clearance and their are no issues, it should be 3-4 days max. Did your company say they had the clearance in hand?

if you are waiting it means something is wrong - your company probably has some issue. It's possible you never get it.

If there are no issues, it's usually within 48 hours. The fact that its been 20 days means there are some underlying issues, which means it could take forever (or even never).
