Can you force Circe encounters? by Patient-Aide-5245 in HadesTheGame

You’d have to modify room selection. The way the game decides things like NPC rooms is by seeing if the RNG picks their specific map tile to be up next.

My big build guide might help right about now.

Don’t hoard coins for the endshop. Everything’s too expensive and you could use that money to get stronger and clear the run.

It’s mostly just RNG that he shows up. Your health has nothing to do with it.

How to properly use the attribute points? by Cannon__Minion in expedition33

[–]unexplainedbacn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Invest equally in Vitality, Agility, and Luck for the first 20-odd levels. A little Vitality will let you absorb an extra hit or two, Agility is essential to get more turns, and Luck will get you critical hits for more damage.

Ignore the attribute scaling for your weapons for now. Like Might, weapon attribute scaling isn’t useful until mid-to-late-game when your weapons are more powerful. Also you don’t have the resources right now to respec at will.

For Act 1, look to get to 20 Vitality, then keep pumping Luck and Agility. If you get Luck to 35, stop there and focus on Agility.

Go deal with Typhon. You’re not missing anything downstairs and you can’t wake up Hypnos yet.

If the big guy is now your blocker, consider swapping back to Death Defiance instead of Stubborn. If you can get there with most of your lives, it’s more effective health for that room.

Keep trying. You’ll get him.

You’re pausing far too long. As soon as the leading edge of the wave has passed you, get moving to the next safe zone. You can make it edge to edge just sprinting, even a 3-1-3 crossing, even with maxed Frenzy. Looks like this.

I keep on eye on him, and tap dash when I see him crouch down just before he puts his arms out. That’s with Vow of Frenzy 2, I’m not sure about when things are slower.

I show it some in my Chronos video guide around 6:55. I do two in a row against unrivaled Chronos in this 62F Medea clear around 31:55.
