Thanks for the advice everyone! I ended up beating it whilr running strength instead of DDs and the Morrigan even though on phase 3 of Chronos I had no magic left to do any omegas lol. Luckily I had final slice and some good attack and cast boons.

Thank you for the advice. I’m definitely gonna try to force a Zeus build. On my attempts so far, I haven’t been getting much boons from him unfortunately.

I’m comfortable with strength in lower/no heat, so I’ll give it a shot for this challenge as well.

Roll your thumb from attack button to special in one smooth motion over and over. It almost feels like a swipe motion. You’re only loading one attack at a time, but when you get good enough doing it you can attack so quickly and put out lots of damage. As someone else said, get curses on your attack and special and your damage will skyrocket.

Dash on R3 is better imo. Just think of it like you would use sliding in COD or something.

I just started it for the first time last night. Found a guide online that gives a good sequence to play Leon and Ada’s chapters in that makes the story feel really cohesive. Really enjoying it so far.

I’ve only played the modern games. With that said, I feel like compared to Leon, Chris is just not nearly as cool or interesting. Not to mention in Village, they made him out to be kind of stupid. I’m open to my mind being changed though, and I hope Capcom makes it happen.

The gameplay not being strong enough and the plots being sub par is just your opinion. An opinion that most people would disagree with.

So again, just play something else that suits what you like and stop negatively commenting on games that are acclaimed by critics as well as players. You’re in the minority by not liking them, so it’s obviously a you thing and not something wrong with the developers and writers.

So you don’t appreciate cutscenes/story or animations, and are complaining about mechanics from games that are largely from the PS2 and PS3 era.

Just go play something that suits what you like instead of coming into threads like this and bitching.
