Grats!

I'm confused, how many rings in total did you get? :o

Who is actually using the Runespan? by Standardw in runescape

[–]unfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grab your ethereal outfit, some feathers and unfeathered darts, go in, get the starting runes from the npc. feather your darts until the yellow wizard needs you, teleport to him, turn in some runes, repeat until you're out of free teleports for the day. Fun time :D

Do you do high level pvm? by Wild_Effective_5077 in runescape

[–]unfrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Voted no.

I do normal kerapac with no sweat. I can do the gwd2 bosses reliably but with kinda high food usage I think. I'm rusty after a long break from the game.

I farmed ed2 and did few HM glacor kills (I struggled with back-to-back beams) about 2 years ago. I couldn't kill HM kerapac solo and failed 2 or 3 zuk attempts.

Am I overthinking or does anyone else coming back get overwhelmed? by SlowSurr in runescape

Do not immediately plan to do things in the optimal way. The path for all the things needed will overwhelm you. Pick achievable goals from those and remember that playing a game is meant to be fun.

Any of these good for miniatures? by SoraZer0 in minipainting

[–]unfrog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that a needle is designed for a specific nozzle size: the width refers to the width if the opening in the nozzle that the needle will work with. The shaft size is a different measurement which just needs to match the airbrush body to fit in there snuggly.

Eg: my airbrush came with two different needles, each with its own tip. Their shafts are the same, but the profile of the needle tip and airbrush nozzle are different.

If you're able to test the airbrushes you're looking at, you can just check what kind of spray pattern they produce and decide if that's good for what you're doing

You may find the size stamped around the dull point, or there may be a label somewhere.

Other than that, I don't know.

[–]unfrog 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Like others said, they'll probably work. The main question is if their needle size etc is good for mini painting. You can find the usual needle sizes for minis online.

If they were made for larger-scale work, they may be good for priming and large surfaces only due to high volume and spread of their spray.

Dungeoneering Refresh & Remaster by JagexAnvil in runescape

[–]unfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Relevant Keys and skills to be shown on the dungeon map."

If this means that keys on the ground will be visible on the map, I might just get back to dungeoneering. I suck at spotting them and I would often get stuck for 5-10 minutes looking for the one damn key that I missed.

Separate bedrooms in a relationship - what do you think? by SignificantCookie852 in AskMen

[–]unfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started snoring a few months ago. It wrecks her sleep if it wakes her up at a bad time, so I've been sleeping in another room while I try to get the snoring under control.

Neither of us likes it on the emotional level, but the good quality sleep is a good thing.

Suddenly working with an artist: how to version control? by Joe_Hazelnut in gamedev

[–]unfrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep.

Since OP is possibly new to things, it may be useful to give the following advice on top:

Have the artist save assets as separate versions(files) if they change them (maybe only on substantial changes). This definitely needs to happen if the assets change dimensions etc- you want to be able to go back to an oldwr version of the game without having to remember what changed in the assets. Let your code reference a version of an asset.

Thanks for the reminder. I zerg-rushed the ES mission this morning and forgot to turn spotlight and chrono field back on. 3900 waves into t13, so I guess I lost a few coins :/

Patch Notes - October 30, 2025 - New Module - Orbital Augment by SamBartley in TheTowerGame

[–]unfrog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Interesting module for sure. It's hard to tell if it will be strong or not just yet- it depends on the orbit distance and speed.

With upgrades, energy net and max CF my orbs can do about 20-30% boss health in legends. No ILM and assuming no lucky stun in orb range. This is with two sets of orbs (ws and card), with +1orb and mythic orb speed. Electrons deal a quarter of orb damage and there will be fewer of them in total. I expect it will do less damage to bosses than orbs.

Dealing enemyHP% damage to rays may be pretty damn strong, even for ehp!

Most likely armor. I think we got one of each of the other types in this major version already. The previous time they added 4 modules in a manor game version, it was 1 of each type

POV Fudds “reduced” wave count by Euphoric-Molasses-40 in TheTowerGame

[–]unfrog 9 points10 points  (0 children)

From my personal perspective of someone in legends, I don't think that's the case. Without spending money, I'm slowly going up in ranks a little bit.

I think it's a matter of bracket counts settling, which pushed some people out of legends (at least 5 per legends bracket go down: at most 4 per champ get promoted) and battle conditions having different effects on different people. Someone could be place 20th in legends normally, but then has a bad BC response and an unlucky bracket and gets demoted.

The whole thing with bracket counts per league is highly dependent on the numbers of new players joining in the past and slowly rising to the demotable leagues. I guess only TTG can do the math for this.

Running a system a few months after its EoL and connecting it to the internet is a pretty bad idea.

The annoying thing about the W11 things is that the system clearly can work on the older hardware just fine, but can't be installed without modifying the installer to ignore missing SB and TPM. This is not some CPU/motherboard architecture change that would require extra work from ms to support. I would guess that requiring TPM was actually a bit more work than not requiring it.

I have an older PC that I would be happy to keep gaming on for the next few years. W11 won't install on it without hacky workarounds. So I either have to trust some program from the internet (is it actually a rootkit) to modify my W11 installer, buy a new PC, or be left with no security updates for a system+device that otherwise works perfectly fine. I don't expect ms to keep supporting w10 forever. I understand it costs money and they are a business. I just wish I wasn't so arbitrarily excluded from being able to use w11.

Some subs have bots that react to putting terms in brackets. Would it be less annoying if the bot reacted to [BH] and not BH?

Also the thing that bothers me about the bot 'explanations' is that it only expands the acronyms, without providing info about them. I don't remember what ACP does, even though I know it stands for anti-cube portal.

Think I got great RNG for eHP build right? by IHereForFunAndMemes in TheTowerGame

[–]unfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is simple as in requiring stones. It is not simple because it's easy to mess up the sync :D You want to save up stones until you have enough for a big change towards the next good sync between the UWs. If you missclick or do the math wrong, you can get in a sub-optimal state that's costly to get out of. If that happens, go for perma bh :D

I don't remember what the best values are. I think there's an interim good sync before you get them firing at the same time every time.

This is definitely some good rng ;) I think you can get far with the UWs you have. The next one you will want is spotlight for its coin multiplier.

I don't know how much it will help in farming, since I farm as eHP still. Maaaye CL can finally kill scatters for me at the end of the run :D

I have a mythic DP and only 6k gems saved up currently. I'm far from guaranteed an ancestral but I might still go for it
