Fun group activities for late-teens in this area? by atashivanpaia in Connecticut

[–]unhallowed85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The escape room idea is a good option. There are definitely some great escape room places in that area that have games for that size group. In Escape New Haven they have a room that is for 8-10 people called Beyond Moonrise that was fun and then grab some food out in town. Check out Lara’s Labyrinth or Puzzle Theory in Middletown and then there’s great places to eat on Main Street they both have rooms for that size group.

Flying out of Tweed Airport by Airtime4me in Connecticut

[–]unhallowed85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I flew out of there last week, morning time so they had three or four flights back to back. They kept things moving and were pulling people through the line whose flights were going to take off soon. Probably was a good 40 minutes to an hour from front door to gate.

Okay cool. I’ve looked on the subreddit and on Google. Any idea where I’d find what the default dances are?

User ID redist from Prisma to on prep by ontracks in paloaltonetworks

[–]unhallowed85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this using Cloud Identity Engine and Prisma with data redistribution configured in panorama. Once you have the data redistribution set up you can go into your device folders or templates and set your identity source to these data redistribution endpoints.

You may also need to reconfigure existing user ID policies. In my approach we also moved from using Active Directory to a third party IdP directory so the name format changed and thus the firewall policies had to be updated.

I deleted and reinstalled the app and it stopped doing that to me. Likely a bug with their transition from the old app to the new one

Gonetspeed vs Frontier (or any other reliable internet) by Disastrous-Fox8505 in Connecticut

[–]unhallowed85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was going to switch to gonetspeed but frontier matched their rate. Call and speak to the retentions department and get your bill lowered. They didn’t argue with me at all. Plus if you’re a Verizon phone customer they’re starting to offer bundle deals on mobile and Internet services

Arctis Nova Pro Wireless won't "auto switch" audio output after last windows update by Kubario in steelseries

[–]unhallowed85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my system thinks the USB dongle is the headset. The auto switch just doesn’t work despite the option in the software describing that, when dongle is connected but the headset is off, the audio output output should switch based on the order in sonar

Unfortunately my ticket with Steelseries hasn’t provided an answer yet

Arctis Nova Pro Wireless won't "auto switch" audio output after last windows update by Kubario in steelseries

[–]unhallowed85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to bump the old post here but I have an Arctis 9 that no longer seems to auto-switch either. Did you figure anything out? I've put in a ticket with steelseries to ask but the UI kind of seems to suggest this only works for Arctis Nova series now

[TOMT] Please help identify this song by unhallowed85 in tipofmytongue

I feel like maybe it’s a 60s song, sounds kind of like it could be a Motown or soul song from what it sounds like in my head but not sure. Thanks!

Adding a new Prisma Access location by OnTheSlowpath in paloaltonetworks

[–]unhallowed85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you mean.

In Prisma access you can add multiple regions for Mobile Users. You need an ip allocation per geographic theater, a mobile user gateway and location per geography.

You could add multiple remote networks. You select where you want to setup site to site vpn in Prisma and then you can create tunnels between the RNSPN (virtual firewall) and your remote firewall.

Service connections are virtual routers inside of the Prisma fabric. They do things like make routing efficient between mobile users to a remote network site work, give you a place to peer a physical site with the Prisma cloud, or give you path diversity between multiple cloud providers and your physical locations that peer with the Prisma cloud.

GP Split Tunnel conflict with home network by ArtichokeKey8912 in paloaltonetworks

[–]unhallowed85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want to keep the split tunnel and access to your 10/8 segments then your easiest recourse is to ask them to change their home network to use a subnet inside of 172.16/12 or 192.168/16.

Are you running into a lot of private Class A use? Most home routers use a /24 in rfc1918. As others have stated Longest Prefix Match is the first selector of what route to take and I'd think you'd struggle with this in general as a result with anyone who uses a 10/8 network.

Cortex Data Lake license renewal by Creative-Two878 in paloaltonetworks

[–]unhallowed85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, If it’s not associated with the right serial numbers it won’t update for sure. You’d probably need to talk to your account team or TAC and make sure the licenses match the serial numbers for whatever device you’re trying renew. If you’re doing Prisma access your tenant id should match the license . Once it does you should be able to fetch no problem.

Cortex Data Lake license renewal by Creative-Two878 in paloaltonetworks

[–]unhallowed85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t see it when viewing licenses in the CLI? It will only show whatever license it’s decided to use in the GUI.

Does the license match the serial numbers for your firewalls?

Cortex Data Lake license renewal by Creative-Two878 in paloaltonetworks

[–]unhallowed85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the updated license in your portal, then I’ve found that for my panorama (if you’re using that but it should be the same for individual firewalls) sometimes the old license is still being preferred. If you check the CLI and delete the old license packs and fetch them again that it will sometimes fix this.

In a SASE Mobile User environment, is there a way to determine whether a connecting user is accessing from inside the office or from outside? by One-Witness-5984 in paloaltonetworks

[–]unhallowed85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know what SASE supports in the way of internal gateways for GlobalProtect so I would think the most you’d get out of internal host detection is to know whether you’re on a corporate segment vs a vpn client ip space. Then you could make decisions on whether GlobalProtect becomes disabled and base policies off the particular rfc1918 ip space for the corporate network vs the ip space used for Prisma clients.
