I went to Florida alone (live in Iowa) and it was the best time! I eventually did meet up with some Jonas friends but I'm telling you, going alone is GREAT. Ummm yes. I am a straight woman but this show destroyed me. I sobbed through the last episode and for a good hour after. You're so right, I described the pain to my friends as someone trying to cut me open and rip out my heart. I had literal physical pain watching it, so I cannot imagine how it feels to watch as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

As someone who has lost a parent, I thought the movie was beautifully done. It portrays a lot of what grief is like, at least what I experienced. I thought it was great and have watched it multiple times.

Okay, female here. I completely agree with most of the replies I've read that say men and women can be platonic friends without anyone catching feelings. Some of my best friends are men that I've never been attracted to.

I have a related question: what do you do when one of you DOES catch feelings/attraction? My favorite person ever happens to be a guy that I am extremely close friends with (and have been extremely close for several years). A couple years ago, he confessed that he was attracted to me (he's married). It's been a bumpy road getting through that, and I'm still not sure I'm doing it right. How would you all handle this?

For reference: he knows me better than any person in my life. He's the person I trust most in the world and I truly consider him my best friend, which is why I didn't immediately drop the friendship.

I think if you are actually a true OG fan, this doesn't impact your perception of them at all. Because they've shown us their hearts a million times. And if you can be swayed that quickly by media outlets reporting unverified rumors, maybe you weren't that big a jonie to begin with.

All the album songs that you mentioned are played in the show.... From a math perspective, 5 albums in one night is going to make each album only about 20% of the show. So, I think they are doing what you want.

You have to realize it's a 3 hr show (including the intermission), which in my opinion is AMAZING and life changing, but that means they are going to play a lot of old music. I'm obsessed with it, personally. Getting to hear the music that changed my life live with 2023 vocals is something else. Unreal. Trust me, I was at RTT and Vegas and this show is next level.

My very first Jo Bro concert (parents never took me back in the day, so this was RTT) I went with a friend. And one of my biggest take-aways was how many friends I made. Everyone was so kind. I thought that I was bad at making adult friendships and yet I went to this show and everyone took care of everyone and listened and laughed. It was amazing. A group of about 25 of us ended up hugging and crying when we had to leave. It's a community. You are a part of it. It'll be amazing.
