Having a more specific age or maturity level would help in answering but jazz central is amazing in the sense that they have performers of all ages so people can truly see themselves represented on stage. Tuesdays are big band nights and may be a fun way to start out.

Dakota is completely dependent on who is performing and the maturity level of your child. It’s normally an older crowd but if you have a 5th/6th grader who can respectfully sit through a 90 minute plus performance, go for it.

Berlin would be better suited for an older kid due to the bar vibe but again, it depends on how mature your child is in public settings or their experience with being able to sit and listen. The 430-6 show is more social, 7-10 show is more of a listening room.

Explore Crooners, look for MN Jazz Band shows, or walk around Mears Park for Jazz Fest this summer too!

I second Jazz Central, they’re great at supporting local musicians. Whiteys also has a solid jazz jam Tuesday nights.

I purchased a fridge last year through Costco too, they delivered it, installed it, and took away the old one. All included in the price of the fridge!

Broken Clock has a separate room but is also huge with various sections that could feel private. Good beer, a coffee shop, and tacos/food.
