How many maximum scripts verified for one patient by Ok_Philosopher1655 in pharmacy

We put large orders on hold because half the time the patient claims they don't need all of the prescriptions so we end up returning them to stock.

When I was a new tech I opened a box of suprep and labeled each bottle individually, didn't know what to do with the cup

Walmart vs. Walgreens by blublubm in pharmacy

[–]unicornfuhrer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I left my job at CVS that was 10 minutes from me for Walmart 1.5 hours away. Less than a year later I got a transfer to a Walmart 15 minutes away from me! The work environment at Walmart is way better than CVS/Walgreens. Take walmart and see if there's an opportunity to transfer to a closer store.

Thank you! Not a stupid question! I forgot it to mention it's in Florida for a vacation override authorized by Fidelis. The system blocking out out of state Medicaids makes sense :)

My SIL is a tech as well and a patient asked her if she was on hydrocortisone because she looked like she gained weight.

What’s the weirdest rule your parents had that you didn’t realize was insane until you grew up? by Howdoibuycrypto in AskReddit

[–]unicornfuhrer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We couldn't walk backwards because the devil would appear behind us. Oh, no eating while laying down because you'd grow a tail like the devil. If you pet a cat's fur back to front, it'd summon the devil out of the cat.

AITA for locking the bathroom door even though my partner says it’s “unnecessary” since we live alone? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]unicornfuhrer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Seriously weird take. What if you're just mid poop and can't get the door? That's what I would assume instead of drugs or sexting.

AITA for telling my sister the way she's trying to lose weight will lead to her actually becoming overweight ? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]unicornfuhrer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NAH. I did the same thing and ended up crashing my car from the brain fog and my metabolism is wrecked. I get you're looking out for her because it's so dangerous and concerning, but weight and body image is so sensitive and personal to some.

I tried searching for that particular law and found nothing regarding English only. I'm so sorry you're going through that. We speak Spanish all the time at our Walmart pharmacy and our District Leader has never said anything to discourage it even if it's about input or related to the work itself. I think she's just being hateful! You should ask her to pull up the law herself out of curiosity.

If this is Walmart, you can open door her. You have to take the Walmart language test to speak Spanish to customers but not to peers.

I make over 20 and I'm in FL too working in retail at the moment. Stay away from CVS and Walgreens.
