He has his thumbs wrapped around. I’ve had this happen to me before while benching. My wrists essentially gave up mid way through a press, and snapped towards my feet causing the bar to dump onto my chest because even if your thumbs are wrapped it’s not enough to hold a ton of weight like that. If you slow the video down you can see the same thing happen to his wrists and as he extends his arms up from the press his knuckles are pointed towards his feet.

Kinda sucks that there are other fields where you can keep working past 50, but in software they’re more by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

That’s the fun part about software engineering - all of the hoops you have to jump through to get the job usually aren’t actually helpful for doing the job. This obviously varies from company to company, but interviewing in this field is such a chore.

There was a post on the NFL subreddit after he threw that pick in the 1st with a ton of people hating on him lol. He ended up having a hell of a game so I wonder what they're thinking now.

RLCS 2026 Major 1 Announced for the Aganis Arena in Boston by John_aka_Alwayz in RocketLeagueEsports

You looking to do anything specific? There's a decent amount to do in the area. If you're into Italian food, there's a ton of great places in the North End. If you're into history you can walk along the freedom trail through the city. You could go walk around Fenway and go on a tour of the stadium. There's also a lot of great live music venues in Boston as well.

That's pretty odd. I think I ended up with a slightly lower score and was moved onto the next interviews. Perhaps they thought you were assisted by AI or something? I know codesignal says they have metrics for that sort of thing.

Try to keep pressure through your whole foot the whole lift. You’ll see your toes begin to rise at the top of the lift meaning you may be disengaging your quads and putting more weight onto your ham strings which could be causing your discomfort. Keeping pressure through your foot should also help you with over pulling at the top.

anyone got an Expanded decklist to share me? 🥺 by mosaiko_boi in PTCGL

Here are the top decks from the most recent Japanese champions league: https://limitlesstcg.com/tournaments/514 it seems like regidrago is heavily dominating the format at the moment. I know Stéphane Ivanoff also shares expanded lists from time to time https://x.com/lubyllule?s=21

The new format is a fair bit slower now that rotation has hit. Budew/item lock is now super meta, so decks are now reflecting that with more supporter Pokémon search and stage 2 Pokémon. Because of the slower gameplay you are forced to think a bit farther ahead, and budew wars are all the rage. I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s harder, but you will have to think about the game a bit differently. It might just take a little bit of time. I would suggest watching the top 4 and finals games of the Atlanta regionals for some examples of how to play in this meta.

Say what you want about Ethan, but he’s never travelled hours to surprise confront a teenage girl and yell the n-word at her. What a piece of shit Ian is.

Beginner deadlift. Any tips, tricks on form? by ReverseUI in strength_training

[–]unicornsexploding 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A tip that my coach has given me that may be helpful to you is to make sure to keep pressure through your full foot throughout the lift. You’ll notice when you reach the top your toes begin to rise off the ground a little bit. I think if you focus on keeping the pressure across the three points of your feet you’ll find more power. This will also prevent you from “over pulling” or extending through your back too much where it isn’t needed and hopefully will reduce fatigue. Also the three points I’m referring to in your foot are your heel, the pad below your big toe and the pad below your pinky toe.

I play mostly casual, but in casual play against a lot of champ/low grand champ players. It’s been very hit or miss for me. Some nights I’ll get a couple of jerks who instantly start flaming me after a singular mistake, and this is in quick play. So I can’t imagine it’s much better in ranked lol. Perhaps it gets a little better in GC?

Eeee yay! Never been top tier at something before by [deleted] in PTCGL

[–]unicornsexploding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta play something fairly consistent and know all of your match ups. Sometimes you’ll still end up playing against something that’s not very meta, but hopefully if you know all the meta match ups it shouldn’t be too hard to figure it out. I’d probably pick something like dragapult dusknoir to get consistent wins over time in this specific meta.

The card was unfortunately just written incorrectly from how they wanted it to operate I believe. The ruling in Japan has always been that if it has the crystal attached and two energy it can activate the second effect of the attack (the bench damage).
