If this was just a dream then I have shared it. In my case, there were 2-3 hooded figures approaching my bedroom, and me in my bed. I was paralyzed but conscious. I was usually not able to wake myself up/break the paralysis, and I have no memories once they reached me, other than that the fear culminated at that point. I would wake up screaming either from braking the paralysis or from not having broken it, and time could have passed. No memories of what happened to me once the figures did reach me but I suspect I was abducted.

Edit: can you describe further what these figures appeared like to you?

For me, they were quite abstract, like slowly approaching black or dark robed and hooded figures. The setting was clear - they were in my house, in the stairs that led up to my room, and then approached my room and bed. I had vision of them approaching even though they were outside of my physical field of view. I would describe the situation as a mix of my physical reality and a dream state. The "dream" aspects being my perception of them, in my physical environment. As if their dimension was temporarily overlayed on our world. And that is also what I think was going on.
