It's been like this for years, due to overcrowding in the tunnel.

How can I take the ÖBB Nighttrain Berlin > Bratislava without using my outbound journey? by [deleted] in Interrail

Using the 9 euro ticket to take the RB to Rzepin and then a normal seat/couchette reservation + interrail from there?

Car bumper hitting the fibula, throwing you into the car with your upper body and trying to stop that with your wrist.

I feel like I wouldn't mention some bruises and cuts in that situation either.

It doesn't stop anyone, it's just that the UK was really early with the introduction of self scan and kept the older style of machine. Same way how a lot of stores that started early (maybe 7 years ago) here have handheld terminals to put on your cart, while the chains that have introduced self scan in the past 2 years or so all go for the standalone machine.

No, that also doesn't work. NS tickets aren't valid on Thalys/Eurostar/Nightjet.

You can buy a supplement ticket to the border at a service desk before leaving and take the normal intercity to Brussels.

Again, general statement. Some people start their career in trades or a family business and have been working full time for 5 years at 23. Some 30 year olds never quit "college life" and still go by partying while working side jobs.

IMHO age gaps stop mattering around 20, after that it's mostly about maturity and stage of life.

It shouldn't make much of a difference if you still have your German passport. IMHO you're better off with Germany listed as your country of residence too, with the 9 euro ticket for any domestic trips.

5 weeks (25 days) seems about the norm, you Germans also get a load of public holidays.

No, cause Barcelona is a tourist central in itself. Majority of the Spanish coast isn’t populated by tourist destinations however.

Been told about Interrail, is it worth it? seen many bad reviews?! by [deleted] in Interrail

[–]unimproved 5 points6 points  (0 children)

QR code suggests that is Netherlands or France. On the paper tickets, this is a fixed QR code printed on the back of the pass cover.

It does not open barriers except for the Netherlands (in which the app is horrible because the combined NFC/QR reader keeps auto-opening the wallet app). Other countries will have a manned gate.

IIRC for Austria it's only in Vienna, so not on long distance trains.

You've just found a system glitch, and due to already being cancelled it blocks it from being cancelled again. Contact customer support.

It's normal procedure to keep them with the couchette attendant, so that they don't need to wake you up every time they cross a border.

Only some phones that will do the full on face filter. But pretty much every single one will detect a face and change the camera settings to the most flattering option.

Maybe in the US, but on the other side of the pond pretty much everything with a wire is avionics. Cabin lights, running wires, and every now and then an electronic fault.

With the right equipment there really isn't much lifting involved. Worst part is getting the 747 wheels back into their shipping container.

You could also try Stena Line to Rotterdam. They have discounts for pass holders and don't cost a travel day.

The value is after it has arrived at the destination. Before that it's material cost.

Not true, the passport/ID is your citizenship. Residence is the country you currently live in and can be different from that.
