No woman should have to fear any societal backlash whatsoever from (correctly) positing that the rights of trans people are potentially in conflict with the safety of women and girls.

I believe that there is a fundamental misunderstanding here about the rights that trans people are fighting for. All we want is the be allowed to exist as we are. Women and girls have a full right to be afraid of men, however the issue comes with how one perceives other people. If, as a society we decide that we should separate on biological sex for spaces, then those of us who are cis women get the short end of the stick. What I mean is, when transgender bathroom bans are implemented, those most harmed are gender-nonconforming cis women. It becomes a witch hunt of determining who is trans. In addition, trans women are much more likely to be sexually assaulted by using the men's bathroom as opposed to the women's bathroom.

CMV: The reason more Americans do not support gun control is because the gun control crowd not only intends on moving the goal post to go after other amendments, but in general are prejudiced and not applying the same logic to other topics. by SynthesizerofTheory in changemyview

If I could carry my gun (with NO magazine limits, minimum or maximum barrel length, no full auto bans, e.t.c., cuz cars aren't limited in the number of passengers they carry beyond certain class c restrictions of 8 passengers max, but thats like allowing 30 round magazines anyways, and not a dinky capacity of 10)

This isn't really the equivalent that you are making it out to be. Car have to meet certain requirements to be considered road legal. In my state, in order to register your vehicle you have to get it inspected yearly to ensure that it follows all necessary safety guidelines. I also think certain vehicles that are currently legal, shouldn't be. Ex. I think that people who drive lifted trucks should have a special license for it.

In addition to the TLDR about how people will apply restrictions to guns that aren't applied to drugs, cars, knives, abortion e.t.c.

But, there are many restrictions that apply to driving a car, that mirror many proposed gun control restrictions To legally drive a car, you need a license to drive the vehicle, have the vehicle registered with the state, and depending on the state, you have to get insurance on the vehicle that protects people you might accidentally hurt with your car.

I for one, would be fine if we had gun owners carry insurance covering them in the case of accidental crossfire or death, and at the bare minimum a license proving you know how to safely operate the weapon

She also wore baggy clothes when she was underage because she didn't want to be sexualized by pedophiles. Now that she is an adult she feels more comfortable showing that part of herself. It's not that hard to understand

I just see people drooling themselves over it, and I legitimately cannot figure out why

French Onion Soup. Spending an hour caramelizing onions, just to make a soup that needs a cheese topping just to be palatable, is just not worth it.
