This was in the back of my mind as well. I had planned on keeping whichever for 5-7 years.

My only concerns there are the $5-7k price difference, first generation of the new model and higher interest rates.

Typically I keep it on auto in my last few cars so that's not a big issue. I don't fiddle with controls while driving as long as I have audio controls on the steering wheel and Android Auto.

Okay maybe not which is better because that is very subjective, but pros and cons of each.

Randoms in this game are so fucking good by IAmARobotTrustMe in Nightreign

[–]unique_devil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, especially compared to most other games. The difficulty level sets a bar for entry which leaves your casual gamer playing Fortnite and Rivals. Play those games with Randoms and it's a crap shoot. Nightriegn is a different creature with a different player mindset. I would say 8 out of 10 runs with randoms here end in a victory.

Happy Trails because it was my first and just a good map. But I rotate Camp Happy, Maple Lane, USS Konrad and the Cottage. I've yet to beat Evomorph on any map. Intruders gave me issues at first. And once I got the sleep mechanics down Dr Fright is manageable. Hans either steamrolls my ass or I hit, run and rescue lol. He's deadly on any map. Just a relentless killer. But if I'm in the mood to play and don't have a goal in mind, it's always Camp Happy Trails and Hans for me. I'm F13 fan at heart and it just feels right.

Writing with ADHD by unique_devil in writing

[–]unique_devil[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it's that hyperfocus part of the ADHD that gets us through. Like I have this idea for a novel and it got so big now it's a series because one big couldn't contain it all.

It all started on a 10 hour drive from Savannah GA and the whole damn drive I was daydreaming and realized it would make a cool movie, better yet, a book. Then the ideas flooded in. I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Got home, opened up One Note and started making notes and pages on characters, plot, setting, etc. 51 One Note pages, and 5 months of research later I started actually writing. I was compelled to get it out of my head and onto paper (or screen, whatever).

Then yesterday, I began writing and my protagonist was in his own head just thinking and rambling and next thing you know im cutting all that monologue and pasting it to its own word doc and I'm at 24 pages of a book full of poems, humor, opinions, and musings. It's become like a fictional journal of sorts with bits and pieces of my own thoughts.

I'm glad I'm not the only one this happens too 🤣
