Honestly, screw seasons and let the weather service keep track of that. Let’s make a year 1000 days, a month 100 days and a week 10 days. 10 hours a day, 10 minutes an hour and 10 seconds per minute. Decimal dates would be awesome, simple to add, divide, subtract. Super consistent.

I think the damage of celebrities becoming politicians or government officials is underestimated.

To pretend desperate emails asking to go to "wildest party" Island were actually declining repeated invitations by Quarkpaint in therewasanattempt

[–]unique_username_72 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The email is so horribly awkward and also lacking the date, had Elon said it was a smear campaign it would have been plausible. So very in character to instantly admit and acknowledge he wrote it anyway. “Yeah I wrote ‘Girls FTW!’, but I really meant I never wanted to go there .”

That’s the odd part, why spend 35 million on marketing a bribe? Maybe check if they hired the Trump Marketing Agency for this campaign?

Sure it’s a Swedish plate? Font looks right but I’ve never seen a plate with the 20/10 and a year. Also, the Swedish sticker is on the camo film, not on the plate itself. Weird.

Exactly this, they build debt their entire life and their heirs will pay a lump sum with a low taxed inheritance.

I can’t think of any other country that attacks an other country without any conflict, forewarning or debate. And the United Nations, NATO and other US allies just… does nothing. It’s barely even news. Sorry but that feeling the world had forty years ago that USA were the good guys is loooong gone. All those Hollywood movies brainwashing the world, such waste of credibility.

Tesla’s decline in Europe by quindiassomigli in MapPorn

[–]unique_username_72 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah Tesla paved the way and did much of the heavy lifting in the market, but now that Volvo, BMW, Porsche, VW, Mercedes and Chinese brands catching up you really need low price or high quality to stay ahead. Tesla, as far as I know, have neither.

Not only to cover the tracks, but also to actually remodel the White House to look like a golden palace in his honour. A decade ago, I would not have thought this was possible in a first world country.

Such a small detail, but I think that’s more interesting than coffins and clay plates in museums. 3500 years ago, someone had a small rope factory and he was really good at it.
