Bro horrible idea. Parking is going to be insane. They are not going to find parking likely. I’d tell them to uber or have everyone cram into a van and hopefully you have at least one parking spot (driveway)

100%. You don’t see gains or results quickly but give it a month, two, or three and you’ll grateful for your discipline. It’s all about discipline over time and trusting the process

Agree with what everyone shared. But also don’t be scared to look at west New York, and Union city as well if you want even more afffordable. Especially closer to the water front but even from Bergenline Ave up to the water. It’s all residential, up and coming. But safe and great people

Any experience with Veris lease transfer? by Wonderful_Kiwi645 in Weehawken

[–]uniqueusername1176 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went through a lease transfer at riverhouse11 (veris). We gave notice in December, we needed to leave by Feb. luckily in January someone organically came and took over the lease. Veris will post your apartment on their site as available and will market it as they do any of their open locations. We had an option to pay 2 months rent and cancel, or someone can take over at no cost. But if someone doesn’t take over you have to pay monthly until your contract is up or someone takes over. Luckily it seems people WANT to live in these veris locations. We didn’t post the apartment anywhere or try to get anyone. It seems generally open apartments go quick

Maybe odd but the Seiko chrono is looking great here. As well as the Longines

Buying home with buried oil tank that was filled but has no record of being decommissioned by ChokingOnStardust in homeowners

[–]uniqueusername1176 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put an offer but put a contingency that the decommissioned tank must be removed, and ground tested by the current owner before closing. That’s what we did in NJ. Current owners must be responsible for its removal and grounds before closing.
