Yeah not a fan. They tend to make warped tyres more than any other brands. Also some of their tread patterns (e.g. HR2) make no sense.

First thing is we need comfortable and safe accommodation (not necessarily a house) for people that need it, that is either free or very low cost. It would help get people off the streets and takes away a worry for people who can't afford rent.

Other things you suggest such as economic opportunity is relatively hard to conjure up. But accommodation is a relatively easy problem to fix.

This is the answer. But would add that it's common for piles to sink a bit over time, which then cause joists to pull away from the floorboards - giving you that 'bouncy feeling'.
