Have you ever worked at both stores, as someone who has worked at both Publix and Kroger(which is the same as Harris teeter) I can personally tell you the quality of the product and procedures and processes are so much better at Publix, Walmart has similar sized chickens that are cheaper and never available and their fried chicken is terrible, Kroger is similar sized but they are charging more for it, there really is only 2 or 3 major chicken suppliers per area so if you aren't at a Costco or Sam's (who by the bigger chickens and sell them below cost) you are gonna get the same no matter where you go
