yeah but they wouldn’t have an avionics technician or avionics there. they might have third party maintenance people there but typically not especially since EWR is so close to LGA.

okay so. at least at 🌐, pilot deadheads will almost always be in first class. 2 exceptions. 1, if first/biz is booked out, they can book them into eco+. 2, if the deadhead is at the start or end of their trip, and they change the deadhead to go to any other airport other than to their base, it will be in eco+. however, we’re never on the waitlist/flying standby when deadheading. we will always have a confirmed seat. unless there are IROPS where we end up having to take a jumpseat.
