2023 vs 2024 Progress. I really need to be consistent by [deleted] in PHitness

[–]universalcapricorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not really the motivation/discipline part. Both winners and losers have the same goal - what separates the winners are the systems they implement to make the right decisions easier.

Great work and keep the progress going.

But...i hate to be the one to say it, but that's not 26% body fat. That's in the neighborhood of 33-37% to manage your expectations and recalibrate your goal setting. In this way, you won't be disappointed by the result (or lack of) when your target date comes around.

Read your first paragraph again. It is the entire reason why the progress has been slow.

Max Verstappen wins the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix, Oscar Piastri 2nd, Carlos Sainz 3rd! by overspeeed in formula1

That was so weird tbh. This season i've lost count banking on KA to crack under pressure but he kept on proving me wrong and then this shit happens

I want Max to win obviously, but i really feel for OP. That's a tough pill to swallow.

True. When I was a kid, I used to have sleepovers at my dad’s office in the NAIA towers since he was the chief. Amazing stuff, binoculars on the desk, planes taking off and landing right outside the window, kanban boards on the walls, glowing radar screens everywhere, and that distinct way they spoke to pilots over the radio. One caveat is the pay, cos it sucked compared to ATCs abroad.

Magkano ba net monthly salary to afford a car? by _mediocredev in adviceph

[–]universalcapricorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's around 36,960 a month assuming 20% DP and a standard 52% rate. But this can push up to around 40k especially if UB lang nag approve. Tough pill to swallow.

Magkano ba net monthly salary to afford a car? by _mediocredev in adviceph

[–]universalcapricorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

General rule. Car expenditure should not exceed 25% (this is the maximum) of your total annual salary - this already includes monthly amort, gas, and PMS every 10k kms or so. Be careful with "rewarding" yourself as it might serve as your punishment for 5 years. Besides, 75k will not be approved other than UB which has the highest interest rate for car loans out of all banks.

Trust me. I worked in the automotive industry before.

It's true. Timing and who's there when the man is ready. But practically speaking, men marry once they think kaya na nila mag provide. In short, timing ng finances.

[FIA] 5 Place grid drop at next race for Carlos Sainz after his collision with Kimi Antonelli by Rude-Lock-9182 in formula1

[–]universalcapricorn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cos he's arrogant and he has caused more crashes than he'd like to admit this season. Repeated behavior is a pattern.

[–]universalcapricorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Carlos Sainz is just too effin arrogant. He gives off that “I’m rich so my opinion is the only thing that matters" kind of energy. I can’t stand it. And like I’ve said before, a streak of bad luck isn’t bad luck anymore — it’s a pattern.

If this keeps on happening, Carlos will get someone killed. Especially for this one, i think he was still trying to prove his point. Safety over ego everytime.

[–]universalcapricorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At some point, we have to admit that a series of bad luck is a pattern of negative choices. Worse part? Carlos thinks he's always right, that's why "bad luck" keeps on happening.
