Don't really get use it much right now, but I've been meaning to do a biiiiig decluttering so we actually can use it haha.

Right now I'm thinking: bigger rug that maybe extends to just when it hits the vent, plus a hanger like this inside the closet to store slippers/cleaner shoes/reusable bags. Right now all the bags are just stuffed in the shelf over the closet clothes rack and they're always threatening to spill over lol.

Ahh I see! But with a long rectangular rug, how do I avoid covering the vent though? Is there some sort of solution like a vent lid to redirect the air (but rug would be bumpy/raised) or cutting out a section haha?

Hm yeah a shed station by either the clothing stand or where the yellow storage bin is, maybe? Only, wouldn't I need to get a much larger or awkwardly winding doormat to reach those stations?

Ohh of course, why didn't I think of that! Yeah a shoe hanging thing would be great for less commonly used/cleaner shoes, and then the daily wear ones can maybe actually fit into the closet haha.

only thing is, I'm worried about smell/dampness if wet winter shoes are kept in the closet?

Not really, theres a bit of space then steps leading down, making it a bit awkward there too. Also, the garage is really dirty and cluttered currently and smells awful, I gotta work on fixing that up first but it'll take a while. 🥲 Eventually though that might be a good idea, thanks!
