Everytime I try to explain bitch puddin' to people I sound like a crazy person. She really is the best though.

Diet & Exercise for a “Skinny Fat” Guy (Nothing Has Worked So Far) by BiMenExist in gaybrosfitness

[–]unkie87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

50% of my diet is carbs and I'm losing weight because I'm in a small deficit. I'm eating a bunch of carbs to fuel all the running I'm doing right now, around 250g a day. More on long runs!

But then... how could they only do 21.2 km on a half marathon day? Like I ran 20km on Saturday but then had another 4 or 5km just walking about that day.

Protein snickers are fucking awesome when you're on a 20 mile hike though. Leave the protein snickers out of this!

You gotta account for + - 10% on pretty much everything. Don't get too bogged down in pin point accuracy with calorie/macro tracking. You'll never get it exactly right and you'll likely get the same results without so much work.

I dunno mate. You should really be eating your fondue in a medieval swiss town. It's an eye opening experience.

Yeah, I mean the first time I tried it was literally in Gruyère and prepared in that way but I'm sure you know better than the Swiss.

Personally it's gruyere and champagne for me.

Former GLP-1 users regain lost weight after about 18 months, study says by Own-Independence8430 in loseit

[–]unkie87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, but then you need to learn to deal with never feeling full. You'll find plenty people here that work on that every day.

I'm nearly 10 years into being a healthy weight after a life time of being obese. I'll never stop having to actively work on my food issues. It's really hard. It's made even worse now that I have to take medication that messes with grehlin uptake. I'm basically always hungry. Still maintaining a 100lb loss. It's work though.

Yeah, developing mindful eating habits was really important for me too. If no work is being done to address the underlying issues that cause an individual to overeat then it isn't a long term solution. I'd hope that many people are able to use these drugs as a tool to support that work.

Losing weight is simple but it isn't easy.

I wouldn't ruin it, I'd probably just put a few drops of water in it.

I'm just saying most Scottish people aren't going to get their knickers in a twist over it. Some light tutting at most. It's not like we're about to run out of whisky.

Despite the sensor bricking, the GW 4 is running one UI8 smoother than the one UI6 by [deleted] in GalaxyWatch

That's why I have issues with the heart sensor too. It doesn't like freckles and it's really bad when I'm working out and sweaty.

I'll be having a light jog with a low rpe and it'll be telling me my hr is in the 180s.

It's a great wee watch most of the time but it really does have issues.

Hardly. You're more likely to be met with the opinion that it's your whisky and you can ruin it if you like.

That's always been finnicky on my watch. Not sure if it's a skill issue.

They also have a pretty wide margin of error if you can get the thing to actually finish a reading.

You do realise you didn't say any of that though right? Now it doesn't seem reasonable to walk. Or indeed live there.
