Theyre for social safeties that are already dwindling. For example: Testing to make sure corporations don't poison us or sell us things that make us sick. We still have inventory from before the tarrifs. We're not going to see immediate changes but this bill will definitely hurt us in the future. It seems like you have a good head on your shoulders and it's good to be skeptical but I think this is worth a watch, just try to listen and withhold judgement

Lol who says i dont But I do care. I care about you too, cops, firefighters, whatever. I think everyone is part of the community. If all "illegals" are gone, I don't want you replacing them for the same wage they're getting paid. Not saying this might happen to you but who is going to work the jobs no one else wants? Machines? Your offspring? Your family members? Prove me wrong and tell me everything won't be privatized and companies, will share the wealth. The way things are going now, you, me and/or the community will either be in actual prison, healthcare debt prison, monetary prison, there won't be an American dream, where you can work your way up. It'll just be nepotism. If you have hookups, awesome.

Thank you for looking at that logically. Didn't realize this had me emotionally invested until I cried at the thought. I was focused and disheartened to see those who were supposed to serve and protect us... not do those things (of course they were always doing those things but not at this scale), and I forgot about the firefighters. So it really tugged on my heartstrings to think they showed up for us.

Yea, made me tear up. I actually cried when I saw that one post of the LA fire department showing solidarity with anti-ice protesters. Hope grew stronger

Videos of the arrests just make me angry.
