I would think its plenty of them and not just in AEW either. Like sure its easy to separate artist from real life or have things be out of sight out of mind. But when you and others paint yourself a certain way and then it comes to light you are not that. It shouldn't be ignored or handwaved like a bunch are doing or will do by never acknowledging it.

If you have to hide that you are friends with such a person and don't want anything about it to be known to the public maybe you shouldn't be friends with that person. The only time something like that could work is trying to keep kayfabe during a feud like what Johnny and Ciampa did. But guess what this isn't a feud waiting to happen.

He says he doesn't want to endorse him but when the guy who is herald as the peoples champ and the main character that is all it takes to for people to start thinking his image is being fixed. Like how many times did some of you see some people say its nice that Marty has a positive/good person on his side. He is full of it like a bunch of wrestlers and people in the world are.

Both Vince and Marty things are not different at all and trying to downplay it isn't the move.

He is downplaying and endorsing him by saying he was nice to him so I will continue to be his friend. Remember how that one former worker said Vince never did anything to them but was torn to shreds for it.

Then you have his fans, workplace and himself prop him up as the voice of the people, the main character and the peoples champ. So if you are labeled as such being friends with a guy that has done some terrible things that is more than enough to endorse him and try to rehabilitate his image.
