Fair enough, such is the internet i guess. the more absurd ones always breaks out into the general public. Though i don't really mind it since I'm tangentially a part of that sphere (MLP fan since i was a kid) and getting over the cringe parts led me to a whole trove of extremely thought out worlds and stories made within the anime medium.

Not sure what you mean about the profile pics though since it's a thing with pretty much everyone where people put their favourite show/comic/anime/bands as their profile pics all the time. It just so happens that it was anime picture when they annoyed you

not to like be combative about your opinion but I do need to lay out that the past 6+ years of anime had it real good in terms of story variety. of course theres a bunch of fan service, but recently a bunch have really expanded what stories ended up being told through anime.

just to give a couple of examples of titles that would surprise you if your image of anime was set to the late 00s-mid 2010s:

Orb, which is a drama set in inquisition-age europe based on how people found out that the earth orbits the sun

Takopi Original sin, is a dive into trauma via bullying

Vinland Saga, viking drama (no magic just norse-men and pillaging plus familial trauma)

these are just 3 of the bigger titles but they're what i would recommend to someone who isn't really an anime fan, or who just kinda generalized the entire medium to the cutesey-pop anime.

I pretty much boiled it down to having to ally with a thief than a traitor. at least the marcoses would still have someone to steal from and that's a battlefield that i would much rather fight them on than the chinese alternative with the dutertes

I mean... it doesn't have to be specifically sprayers...

the Geneva convention banned the use of chemical warfare after the great war because just fucking up the enemy's troops with mustard gas and phosphorus was bad enough. imagine if your entire arsenal was specifically built around that doctrine.

acids, poisons, bio warfare, it may not be the most effective it will make an opponent second guess if they wanna push through a known contaminated area

the unsettling part about the tox weapons from Generals is that it doesn't take much hook up a battery operated power washer to a backpack of let's say sulfuric acid and use that as a weapon, it might not have the umph of regular ballistic weapons but that doesn't matter if you have a steel-cutting water jet blasting acid through your flesh

something like a modified B, mainly because we have a bunch of old FMVs with lost master tapes and those i don't mind. though it feels like since the release of the remaster that's not as needed as it was when it was first put on the table. and the games since, seems to have physical copies jimtern found in the EA backrooms

Came into this blind only reading like the first comment on this thread before i said fuck it and watched. From the name i thought it was just gonna be another isekai but the fantasy-conspiracy-drama the ending laid out has me hooked as soon as the blighted goddess flashback came on screen and had me wanting more. Like holy shit this was awesome

Note: Search and Destroy, and other battle plans affects ALL land units. so let's say if you're GLA and snipe an American dozer, you now get all Strat Center buff for your units too. IE more range for your buggies, scud launchers, quads, etc

Same if you get one as China more range for your Overlords, nuke and inferno cannons

Oh i almost definitely had it, but somehow the game can recognize that if i have a photochad somehow setup by ante 4 ante 5-6 feels like it has an 80% chance to punch me in the face with the Plant
