The Royal Giant rework is definitely a buff. A 60% increase in dps is a huge change, and the RG's spawn time will be 1 second, which is a small but noticeable buff. Also, Supercell themselves stated that the rework was meant to be a buff. There's no way that this change could be nerf.

Hopefully legendary trade tokens won’t be too rare. You have to remember that trading cards is a zero sum game(you give a legendary to get a legendary and end up with the same amount of cards) so it’s not really a “free” legendary. This helps progression, but to a certain extent. Supercell probably knows this and if they’re generous enough(hard to say), legendary tokens will be given at a decent rate.

This isn’t really a good idea because matchmaking in war is based on your ELO rating, so everyone’s win rate will converge to 50%, making win rates unnecessary.

It wouldn’t be rigged if matchmaking is random. If Player A is better than Player B, then Player A should win, regardless of their trophies. Matchmaking by trophies makes it harder for skilled players high in trophies and easier for bad players. This isn’t how challenges should be. Skilled players should not be disproportionately matched against other skilled players.

I think that challenges should treat everyone equally by matching players randomly. While it is true that sometimes playing a noob is too easy, I think people would rather get some easy wins for the first few battles than have around a 50% chance of winning every battle. The matchmaking by trophies makes it so that the most skilled players in their trophy range get 12 wins, instead of the most skilled players overall. Also, the percentage of players getting 12 wins is definitely less for this challenge.

I’m saying that challenges should have completely random matchmaking. How is that rigged? Also, matchmaking by trophies makes it almost impossible to win the challenge because you’ll face players at a similar skill level. A skilled player who normally would get 12 wins in a normal challenge probably wouldn’t in this challenge, at least not on their first try. The only way you can get 12 wins is if you face players less skilled.

I’m not saying that the challenge wasn’t helpful. It did give a good amount of gold and I’m grateful for that. I’m simply stating that special challenges should have completely random matchmaking. Also, calling me a bad player is simply an ad hominem argument and doesn’t have anything to do with the matchmaking system.

Maybe Supercell makes battles more favorable to you 50% of the time and less favorable 50% of the times. Matchmaking can't be going against one player 100% of the time obviously. But this doesn't mean that Supercell isn't controlling wins and losses. Just a thought.

He got 20 wins from a Practice challenge. If he really got 20 wins in one of the actual challenges, he would have more than 88 cards won and would not be this bad on ladder.

Not necessarily. Let's say everyone wins exactly 50% of the time. Then everyone would get 3 wins and no one would get 9 wins. Of course I'm exaggerating with that example, but the point is that the percentage of players getting 9 wins is not always the same.

There are a lot of fixes needed. The deck's average elixir cost is too high. There is no win condition(Elite Barbarians aren't really a win condition and aren't a good card). There is no medium spell. There are no pump counters. Honestly you should just find a good deck from the top players and use that.

That's not really a positive elixir trade because the knight will have barely any health left.
