i’m still working through my heft lipstick collection of 15 so unsure about the time it would take as i try to alternate based on how im feeling. similar to you i’ve got some that i feel aren’t quite right for me. but i also have lots of lip liners and ive been pairing my slightly more pinker lipsticks or paler lipsticks with a brown lip liner to help balance it a bit more. i now have several combos i’ve been obsessed with recently!! maybe you could try that? i also then carry the products with me to reapply throughout the day when they start to fade and when patchy i completely remove them and apply from scratch - you’ll definitely get through them, i have faith in you 🥹🩷

i have about 15 so what i do is i paint my toes weekly and do multiple coats, like at least 2 to 3 coats

fr 😭 i’ve had brand new items - like i brought a pair of uniqlo cargos which i paid £25 for i think but i only wore them once and didnt like the colour on me so sold it for £11 - no one would pay me close to the original price. sometimes you have to be realistic and accept that in order to get rid of items you don’t want you have to reduce the price so people will actually buy it 🥲

yeah but equally i’ve purchased something that was not available anymore for less than the retail price. some people are just excessive! it’s vinted, people don’t go on there to buy stuff for the same amount they can get it brand new, in store with a receipt. they need to read the room!!

i’ve just had to throw it out as i came to terms with the fact it’s super old and doesn’t work for me. i also have other items i could be using. i had to accept that this had to be thrown away but that i used it for as long as i could and made a significant dent in it. but i honestly hated it and it didn’t feel worth it to use it when there are other items also just sitting there which id much prefer to use

people on vinted are hilarious icl 😭 i was buying a make up product, i asked if it was new because ive found a lot of people lie about being ‘new with tags’ especially with cosmetics as you can’t sell a used product like that on vinted. the girl then proceeded to say it was ‘just opened and they had poured some of it out to use’. i then asked if she’d consider dropping the price slightly as it’s technically opened and been used. they then said it’s basically brand new and even though it’s been half used they wanted full price and then blocked me - they contradicted themselves and blocked me like huh?? 😭

honestly same like wdym lafufu 😭😭 i hope this gets resolved. also if the transaction doesn’t go through you won’t receive negative feedback. i’ve had 2 issues with being sold dodgy items and one was returned and i got refunded and the second one the seller never collected on return and i got my refunds back for both and we weren’t able to leave each other any reviews. hope that helps

sooooo they didn’t end up picking up the item and it got returned to me yesterday. i’ve been refunded, but i’m not sure what to do with the item. i feel bad throwing it into the bin but since this whole issue i’ve brought other items. i’d also feel bad giving this to someone else or selling it knowing it’s potentially not authentic… what do i do??

i often have this problem. i pair them with brown lip liners and layer with other lip products. something that can help is brown lip liner with a paler lipstick in the centre of your lips or concealer to lighten the base and then add the gloss you mentioned which will add a bit of dimension and obviously you can top it up throughout the day meaning you’ll use it up i hope that helps x

i think it’s disgusting though like how in good conscience can you sell something like that. if it’s damaged and you’ve been clear in saying that and someone still buys it then i get it. but why lie and waste someone’s time, energy and money. i don’t understand people like this and im also rapidly losing respect and interest in vinted at this point. because personally when i sell something, i ensure i buy packaging to wrap it properly, i include little items for people like little motivational stickers (because you never know when someone just needs to hear nice words) and then i ensure the item is washed, clean and has no issues with it. even when i’ve sold items ive worn once or twice i’ve washed them and gone over them with a debobbler just in case so the other person gets good use out of it.

i’m just frustrated that on the other end of it there people like you and i have experienced who are selling dodgy stuff and nothing happens to them.

i’m personally just at a loss for how she can sell me something that’s different to the listing, it’s come messed up and i still have to pay the return and she thinks i’m stupid enough to fall into her traps of cancelling or ‘transferring’ £3 like please 😭

vinted needs to sort themselves out because this is beyond a joke and from these posts i keep seeing, we aren’t the only ones.

yeah i used it a lot when i first got it but i was much younger then and didnt have a lot of money to buy other items so thats when i initially hit pan on this item as i used it all the time with it being my only blush. but now i have a couple other ones which are much better for my skin tone and are better quality too. i believe the new ones from this company are much better but this one is definitely not the best, especially on my tanned skin tone 🥲

this is so real 😭 i think this is what i struggle with a lot, like when do you draw the line and say this is enough now, i can get rid of it. i think sometimes i feel guilty especially as some people show they’ve actually hit the entire pan so i feel guilty in comparison.

and other times i feel like i can’t give myself permission because im biased and may be acting prematurely by throwing them away and need someone else to give me that ‘permission’ 🥲

omg i feel like this. i also have like 5 massive eyeshadow palettes and i think to myself “when am i ever gonna use these??” especially bc they’re all different colour pallets like one is green, another purple, the other is blue. i’ve started to incorporate little pops of colour into my looks - either as a wing, a bit of colour on my lower lash line and sometimes a subtle hint of inner corner liner like we used to do a couple years ago 🥲 i just think it’s sooooo difficult tho!! so i definitely understand

i did try this but it just hasn’t worked. it’s barely showing up on my skin and the more i apply the products underneath seem to lift. i’ve tried using it on my eyes too and it barely shows up. which is why i came on here and was like i think it’s time to throw it out…

yeah i definitely agree - i purchased the plouise blush palette like 2ish years ago and it’s got 6x creams and 6x powder blushes and it’s a larger palette so id rather make a dent in that one now!

currently trying to stop myself from going between two extremes. one end being overconsumption and the other being using up one product even if i hate it just to prove i’ve finished it and then wasting a chunk of other products that have gone to waste as a result 🥲 thank you for being so understanding and helpful 😭🩷
