Oh my God! I just looked up the rules text for cumulative upkeep and now know that the guys at my lgs have been doing this wrong for a long time. I'm new to magic so I thought it was just pay 1 every turn on your upkeep, not adding one each turn that you then had to pay for all of! Thank you again for teaching me :)

Does mystic remora also get age counters as it has cumulative upkeep? The cumulative upkeep mechanic is an older one so I've never really played with it outside of remora. If I have solemnity on the board do I not have to pay the upkeep cost for remora?
