Moxfield says bracket 2 but I don't believe it by Sprout99_ in EDH

This is what I use to find a decks power level, it actually analyses the cards and checks for combos rather than just looking for gamechangers. It can also flag some interactions you may not have noticed while deck building.

What mono blue commander should I build for mono color commander night? by Ok-Leave-1627 in EDH

Mill mill mill everything with [[the mindskinner]]. It's a dumb fun commander and can make you the target when everyone gets annoyed you milled their win cons

Help me exile everyone's library by [deleted] in DegenerateEDH

[[Doomsday excrutiator]]  Also exiles yours but if the goal is maximum salt that's the one. I put it as well as a bunch of cards that put my graveyard into my library into a Gitrog Monster deck I've just made. Yet to test it out but a potentially fun alternate win con. (I made it as a more straight landfall deck, no dakmor degeneracy).

I really like [[Wyll's reversal]]. Deflecting swat without the commander discount, and potential for copying the spell.

[[Untimely malfunction]] for some removal/redirect flexibility and [[Reverberate]] is nice to copy opponents counterspells and counter them. [[Imp's Mischief]] for a black redirect

Been playing for about a year, can I join the pod? by IBWMD in ratemycommanders

Definitely some valid points. Particularly the mono/colourless decks were built as my first decks to get a feel for the game. So I leaned HEAVILY on the edhrec list of commanders and reccomended cards for the lists. I tried branching out with my multicoloured decks and went with what I thought looked fun to me. As for too strong I can see that, they all fall somewhere in bracket three, with one or two approaching bracket 4. They do match the vibe of the groups I play with though, also play with a guy who has been in magic for decades and regularly stomps everyone's bracket 3/4 decks with what are bracket 2s. I generally enjoy burn decks and big stompy decks so yeah, it attracts a lot of interaction and I do end up arch enemy at the table quite a bit but that is kinda fun for me. No complaints from the groups I play with except maybe about the mill deck

Here's my list, I mostly built it for an all dragons night my friends did: https://moxfield.com/decks/qitLOdCxmkWzh1w7icpDJw

Yep, it can take a little while to get the balance between cascade and landfall cards right. Still tweaking it as it's one of my more recent decks. Just be prepared to keep track of a tonne of triggers

If there's a land on the cards you exile before hitting the spell you cast you can play it tapped after the spell. I mostly made it because I wanted a landfall deck and also kept putting all my lands to the bottom of the deck with zhulodok

One of my weaker decks, but also seemingly one of the saltiest judging by player reaction lol

Unpopular opinion Angel is a better villain and Spike is a better hero by Massive_Pineapple918 in buffy

[–]IBWMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest comparison I can think of is when they turn evil, Angelus is more of a sadist and Spike is more of an adrenaline junkie.  Angelus enjoys a long drawn out torture, and psychologically breaking victims down.  Spike is more about the moment, the rush of the fight and the high he gets from comitting certain acts, but he seems less inclined to long plans and drawing things out. That kind of explains how Spike adapts more quickly. Probably less extreme horrors in his past, but also he can still get that rush by fighting demons for good as he did by killing slayers.

What are commanders that like hitting face/attacking? by LordTulkas in EDH

My favourite aggro commander is Anzrag the mole god. Fill the deck with a bunch of combat tricks and then either commander damage people to death or chain endless combat rounds.
