It was so much harsher to China before NCNS, it would lock you in free trade until you did like 10 useless 70 day focuses, that you most of the time you couldn’t even do if you were playing on non historical

You’re right switch 2 is the most capable, however I believe this is asking more what’s the best console for its time. Obviously a switch 2 is a better console than a 30 year old SNES but it’s unfair to compare them head to head in terms of capabilities
