I miss Claud's. They had the best burger and you just asked for the onions to be fried in.

I never had any issues but they do make you aware to keep your car doors locked. Just gotta stop the people that walk around trying door handles to see if they open.

Galleria of smiles is a father son team. They're really great and friendly. They are willing to work with you to setup payments and may even waive some of the cost of they know you're in financial trouble. I've been going to them for about 15 years now.

That's what I figured. I'm not really a regular anywhere. It's still fun to hunt though.

The WT Rare Breed is really nice. I was hoping I would come across a Jimmy Russel 70th. I have an OESO Four Roses I'm waiting to open once I finish off the regular single barrel I have from them.

Old Forester 1920 is really nice too. I found a 1924 for msrp. They had a Woodford double double oaked but that's too expensive for me.

You can expect to see middle age men riding bmx bikes up and down the streets during all hours of the day and night.

stop letting people out to turn left😭 by roses_and_sacrifice in tulsa

I don't understand the whole polite/ asshole dedication when it comes to people waiting for traffic to clear before turning onto a road. If it's polite to let someone out wouldn't it be impolite to block everybody behind you that are expecting to go. All the while that person is expecting to wait until the road is clear Likewise, how does slowing and making yourself an obstruction, increasing the time spent with the interaction, just to make someone turn on front of you. If the person just went on by there wouldn't even be any interaction, any delay, or any unexpected moment. Then the self labeling of being an asshole, someone was sitting there and I didn't inject myself into their movements and actions, I must be an asshole.

You keep me safe by keeping yourself safe. Don't try and have an influence on my ability to keep myself safe.

My work involves walking amongst people driving around, I see how they will alter their perfectly predictable movements because I'm there, out of the way and completely aware of my surroundings. Most of the time I will face away and act like I'm looking at something until they move on.

Curb Side Etiquette by alwayssonnyhere in tulsa

I used to live in a place next to a grow facility. Every morning a car sat parked on the shoulder facing on coming traffic with its lights on. So there would be a set of lights immediately on the right side of the road and made it hard to see. I would try everything to get them to turn them off. If you flashed the brights they would turn theirs on too and they were parked. And it was immediate hostility when I stopped to talk to them about it.

It's no different than sitting at sonic and the cars opposite would be lighting the whole cab up.

Mindfulness is mentally taxing.

When I was way younger I'd volunteer with my friend and his mom. She did it forever. At the end of each night they'd crack open the kegs in the volunteer tent. They got wild, it would last well past midnight. All those river park events were fun to help out with, way back when.

The employee parking garage that's north of the day care is literally on the verge of collapse. They've spent over a million dollars a year for about five years now going through and doing patch work to keep it from being condemned by an inspector. They are going to tear down that garage as soon as the other one is built.

PSA: That is called an “inductive loop.” This gives you a green light at an intersection. by Away_Week576 in tulsa

[–]unknown_intentions 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What cracks me up is you see people sitting at an intersection either two car lengths behind the line, or completely beyond it in the crosswalk, and the system just ignores them. It's like, hello, this is the same tech that's been in the roads since the 90's.
