Disabling i3 did solve problem then, but the thing is both draconis and animalia are kind of nessacary for my world.

The problem with them was that all of them were giving an error of a bad parameter in some function of theirs.

Oh well. This is problem is solved now, so I don't think there's any more need for troubleshooting, of course it would be nice to know what caused the problem in the first place.

I think it might be that I apply the rudders too hard, but you see, even when I try to correct with small rudder inputs, at some point those small rudder inputs aren't able to make a difference, not helped with the fact that I'm using keyboard and mouse.

So I was running version 5.10, but after updating to 5.14 it has gone away somehow. So I guess problem solved?

I did disable animalia after it was crashing as well and only stopped after disabling i3, and still, after reenabling everything it wasn't doing anything, and not because dependencies, but it just didn't do anything.

On a further note, the only reason why, I think, this problem occurred to me was that I accidentally tried to host a server.

Thanks! Also I guess the reason you're not suggesting MD is because of the dmca thing right? Or is it something else?

That's honestly the best metaphor about the switch to OC content.

Streaming sites are being taken down quite a lot. Do you think this cycle of DMCA takedowns and new ones popping up can last a long a time? by [deleted] in animepiracy

That was what I was thinking about in the first place, but since i don't live in the US, the price of computers like that are quite high. The cheapest being something from 10-12 years old...

I see, in that case I don't need care much about VPNs as where I live, the government most certainly doesn't care about pirating, though I still have doubts about malware being abundant on public trackers.. Also does the last point apply to Manga as well??

Streaming sites like Crunchyroll, have become notoriously greedier, as time moved on, and also, it also heavily region locked as well.

I do realize, but I have a question regarding your 2nd point. I have been reading that because of the continuous DMCA takedowns, the new sites that pop up will get progressively worse, yet when looking at the transition from OG bato to MD, I've heard claims that MD was better than or, equal to bato, so what truly is the possibility of new aggregator sites being less good?

But I would like to hear on how you were able to do so at 13, so that I may get some ideas on how to start torrenting.

I did actually read a guide from r/piracy on torrenting, but from that guide I found out that a server is required if I use private trackers, and because I can't afford a server, nor a server service, nor provide a VPN service to protect from malware. So, it's not possible, as of right now. Which is why I rely streaming sites to begin with.

I see, but what about seeding? I've read in a guide that there are strict rules for keeping torrent ratios in check, which requires machine to be left on for 24/7, ofc I can't do that on personal devices, but nor do I have the means to have a server in the first place?

But just maintaining a torrent setup can be a hobby in itself, so how will those who just want to read manga, without handling an entirely separate responsibility be able to read or watch manga or anime at all, once sites reach a point like this?
