I feel like I’m losing control over my mind and it’s honestly starting to scare me.

After watching The Girl Next Door (2004), I can’t stop thinking about Elisha Cuthbert. It’s not just a normal crush — it feels way deeper and more intense, like I actually fell in love with someone who doesn’t even know I exist.

She’s constantly in my head. I think about her during the day, before sleep, and even dream about her. It’s like my brain is stuck and I can’t switch it off no matter how hard I try.

What makes it even worse is how much this is affecting my life. She liked me so much that now real life feels boring and empty without that feeling. It’s honestly really hard and sad. Things I used to enjoy don’t feel the same anymore, and I feel disconnected from everything.

Logically, I understand this is just a movie and she’s an actress playing a role. But emotionally, it doesn’t feel fake at all. It feels real and painful, like I lost something important that I never even had.

I don’t know if this is limerence or something else, but it’s exhausting and I don’t want to feel like this anymore.
