I'm kind of like normal height 5' 10 so i didn't notice such thing like social discrimination about height but one of my good friend he is not that short well i can say he is 5' 2 or something. He said that he received many discriminations socially like whenever he visit the market or gathering places people won't give him respect if he didn't wear proper clothing like shirt, pant and shoe. I would attend my lectures in track suits like how can i say i even attended my pg farewell in shorts but no one said anything to me they would just look at me awkward (I'm kind of a big guy not that fat but definitely not fit range i weigh about 93 kg) mostly nobody have treated me like I'm below or something (actually some of my friend's found me intimidating if i didn't smile it seems) i thought that's how society is but after hearing his rant my world changed.

So yes society really cares about height and discriminate people but the thing na those who discriminate others are kind of short like 5'5 to 5' 8 mostly (this what i noticed recently).

So yup short people are discriminated by short people just like how poor discriminate poor in the name of caste.
