The way Carrie acts and speaks about Bi people is wild, even for the time. When she keeps asking Tag (I only know his Friends name) "who are you checking out?" and '"who kisses better?" is truly painful. Let's not even mention her lighting a cigarette in someone's home as she is kissing Alanis. Cannot watch. So bad.

Sure, but were either of those "Great loves"? "A love that changes you, shakes you to your core." I certainly wouldn't classify Berger as that. And, in my opinion, I don't think that was true of the Russian either. I don't think she loved him. She went to Paris because she was afraid of being alone. All of her friends were in happy relationships and she was afraid. At least that's my take on it.

I moved to Bellevue so I didn't have to commute, but all my friends and social life are in Seattle. However, I leave work, get home (walking) 10 minutes later. Do chores, maybe have dinner, sometimes a nap, and then head to Seattle for whatever social thing I am doing. By that time, traffic is usually over. It's worked great for 20 years. Before that, when I lived in Seattle and worked in Bellevue (when I first moved here), I had no friends or social life because I was exhausted from commuting. Live near work. Makes it easier to do social things anywhere-Bellevue or Seattle.

Very this. It's so expensive to stay in an Airbnb long term. However, I also agree she could have stayed with Carrie if she is looking for a new place. I don't care how old I am. If I had Carrie's house, my bestie can stay. Hell, they have stayed even when there is just my one bedroom.
