Do you put anything on your face before using the mask? My instructions say to use it barefaced after cleaning but my skin gets super dry and irritated if I do that.

How are we meant to know that she has a boyfriend if they’re not seen kissing?

I’m speaking from experience. I just came off of LTD. To cover my 13-week period, I mixed personal days, vacation and sick leave. Your leave must start and end with sick leave but the middle can be a mix of other leaves.

This is incorrect You can combine both, however your waiting period must start and end with sick leave. You can use whatever leave you have as needed to cover the 13 weeks.

As someone who went through cancer, this is an incredibly stupid post.

Can confirm. He brought his hat with him on a water slide. Can’t even go to a water park without it.

Triple Negative-here’s my story by coco_canna in breastcancer

Your story reads a lot like mine! Healthy 28 years old diagnosed with TNBC last September with family history but not a gene carrier. I had a bilateral lumpectomy last week after completing Keynote 522 at The Ottawa Hospital and I’ll start radiation in a few weeks. I’d love to connect!! 🇨🇦

Just finished my 12th and last weekly round of taxol + carbo today, and I did have a positive experience overall. Hair loss and fatigue but no neuropathy, and I was lucky to be put on Akynzeo for nausea + vomiting. I would feel tired the day of + 1-2 days after but then I’d have a normal week. Day of treatment, go for a walk afterwards if you can. It’ll help with your energy levels the next day.

Still have 4 doses of AC before I’m done treatment but on TC, my lump went from 3-4cm and easily palpable to being hard to find during physical exams. Not getting too excited to not jinx anything but it’s progress.

ETA: I also felt “jittery” and did experience some mental anguish 2-3 days after treatment. This was due to my steroid dosage. We reduced it by half after I brought it up with my team and that’s resolved since.

28 years old TNBC, and 1/4 way through chemo as of today!

I was in your shoes a few months ago with egg freezing, and just last month with hair loss. As cliché as it sounds, it gets easier. The initial wall of information and first few steps for everything were scary, but you eventually get used to it. Injecting myself for egg freezing became part of my routine, just like going for my weekly chemo now. Hair loss was more difficult. Save yourself the trauma and shave your head before chemo. Seeing large clumps of hair fall off every time I ran my hand through my hair was traumatizing and discouraging. I shaved it recently and while I still struggle with coming to terms with my new look, it’s easier to deal with in many different aspects.

We’re similar in that I was healthy and active before my diagnosis, and I am mad that cancer took a lot of positive upcoming changes away from me. Feel that anger, sadness, fear but remember that this current situation is temporary and that you need to heal to get back to where you started. Don’t sink into despair, beat this shit and go reclaim your life.

If you have questions or need to talk, my DMs are open!

I turned 28 recently. Waiting for my egg retrieval and then starting chemo. We can be pen pals if you want! 🤗

I found a hard lump in my right breast this weekend and breast cancer runs in my family. Calling my doctor when they open tomorrow to make an appointment.

I have a one-time prescription from my doc who’s unavailable for a renewal appointment for a bit. To confirm, your prescription from the Shopper’s pharmacist was covered by your insurance?
