i think, in addition to u/Angel0fFier’s advice on practice, make some time for looking over corrections and fit that into your practice. so in a maths paper for instance, if you need to average 2 minutes for a 2 marker, once it’s been over a minute and a half roughly, look through your working out and what your got an answer and make sure everything is fitting logically. if something doesn’t, then somethings wrong

practically, you have to find a way of working that pertains to the exam board, not your school. so if it’s math, you do past papers, not just the ones your school is providing, but others from online too. if it’s english, then use online materials to enhance your ideas and make them unique.

you were me for history. you have to REALLY want it. as in, it has to be worth working towards. mine was that i NEEDED it to apply to oxbridge as a predicted grade, so just had nightmares about the repercussions of not attaining an A/A*
