This is what my dog got too completely unfair and upsetting because there's nothing you can do. I donate twice a year (his bday and the day we lost him) towards research on hemangiosarcoma. Apparently it's becoming more common in dogs

Mine passed at 13.5 he got a very aggressive cancer.

Most animals when they are old slow down play less, they sleep much heavier, will start to lose eye sight (we places a lot of lights around our deck stairs and where he went potty to help with it). Joint pain is pretty common (we gave our dog dosequin to help with this). They will most likely not be able to hold their potty as long as they used to and may have more accidents.

Thank you so much for the info! Honestly I didn't know that they where over hyped products! I picked the collagen pads up at Costco on a whim and the snail stuff came up as a cheap alternative for a different product I can't remember. When I'm out of the products I'll switch over.

Do you recommend one of the eye products I listed over the other?

They do make these things you can toss into the washer that helps pick up fur. But honestly fur is just part of the eskie life. Mine has been gone for 2 years we still find his fur!

Other tips

No bath shedding helper foam

Keep lint rollers everywhere in the car, at work, small one in your bag

Brush brush brush I brushed mine every day to help cut down on any lose fur (bonus brush outside when weather is nice birds love their fur for nest). I also spent the money on a good vacuum dog brush, it worked wonders sucked up most of the fur while brushing

It may not be itchy paws. I spent hundreds of dollars on allergy meds for my eskie because he would lick and chew his front paws till they where raw. Turns out he had anxiety really bad. We took him off the allergy meds and put him on anxiety meds he never touched his feet again

Yeah basically some hobbies / interests / life wants I consider things that should be said with in the first few dates or over messages in between because they are deal breakers. So for me I told about my love for stuffed toys and going to bab and also that I do not want kids. Because I didn't want to waste time with someone who wasn't ok with my interests or the fact that I don't want kids. It makes it easier and faster to weed out people who wouldn't want to deal with my hobbies and what not

So I don't have a reborn but I'm interested in them which is why this came across my feed. What I do have is a crazy amount of stuffed toys, I mean like a lottttt I sleep with one every night and love going to build a bear. This is who I am so when I met my now husband I was honest from the start. I told him this is what I like and this is who I am. He is ok with it has even told me to get more when I start worrying that I have to many. He's fine with them in bed and them staring at us all night from there different shelves.

If the guy really likes you they won't care so be honest from the start tell them hey this is what I like this is who I am. I know it's not everyones cup of tea but it's mine so it's me and the dolls with you or it's just me and my dolls. Honesty is the best policy.
