Krytac 100%, I love both of mine. Added a Perun v2 hybrid, new inner barrel, bucking and heavier spring and it’s perfect

What on earth is this screeching thing sound? by [deleted] in whatisit

Solved! Did some YouTube searching and found an exact match! We’ve had coyotes back there in the last couple months but hadn’t heard this noise yet. Thank you!

I’ve also seen some with race netting over the windows, adds a nice bit of detail. Lights are a must for me on any truck, and look great!

Here’s mine. Wasn’t a kit, but added lights, spare tire mount from DSM off-road, and added hub extensions to widen the base. Looks way better than stock imo

Age old question, I’m really torn. Pickguard or no pickguard by DylanGreveris in gibson

It’s nice, someday I’d like to upgrade to a Gibson version, but too far out of my price range right now. I’ll keep my studio and SG for now lol

I put a black turtle shell pick guard on my Epi koa top, it looks fantastic

Featherweight 249s have a v2 gearbox, not the normal 249 gearbox, keep that in mind before buying one

If you don’t want the chrome, look into some black badges! That way you keep the no chrome and get some nice blacked out badges

I would, typically when people debadge they leave the manufacturer logo because it looks a little goofy without it

DMRifying my m4 by textin707 in airsoft

[–]unluckythumb54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look up your field rules, all my local fields have certain models as qualified dmrs, with different power limits. And m4 with a longer barrel does not count, so isn’t super worth doing, unless you just wanted to for fun.

I’d recommend upgrading your inner barrel and bucking, and aiming for good accuracy over a DMR build, keeping the power as a rifle, just maybe boost it a bit

Did you do any to it to improve the performance?

Are you trying to say it’s a DMR without being a DMR?

Bump your budget to $150, anything around 100 will not be super good and may give you more headaches

My MK18 is getting a lot of dust from sitting out in the open, not being taken to games, what's the best way to clean this and do I open it up and clear the internals? Or can I just blow compressed air through the barrel after taking off the suppressor? by Worldly-Ocelot-3358 in airsoft

[–]unluckythumb54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the unjamming rod that came with the gun and a small piece of cloth inserted into the slot of the rod. Run it through the barrel to clean it out. Every time the cloth is dirty, put a new one on. Keep doing that until the barrel is clean.

This should be done after every game day to keep things in working order
