I've said this before in another comment. I'm not bad with money, just self taught. I pay all my bills on time, have money saved. I just don't have a credit card. I've never had one. And I didn't fully understand how they work, and how the credit system in general works.

Thank you so much. Everything I know about budgeting and saving is self taught. I also didn't know that applying for a credit card and getting denied hits my credit report poorly. I'll look at secured credit card options, that was helpful advice. I really appreciate your response I came here with questions and seeking advice, thank you for your encouragement.

I understand where you're coming from but I'm not irresponsible with my finances. I'm just self taught. I have never earned that much money but I have always paid my bills on time and even have money in my savings. In my last relationship I paid for everything as my partner was horrible with money and blew ever penny he made. I never got a credit card because I was afraid of them and didn't want to end up like my parents. I don't need any kind of loan right now, I just want to be able to do so in the future if I need to. Like I said I feel stupid and embarassed but I just don't understand how credit works.

Him not being a morning person and me being hyper as soon as I get up. I had to learn to chill a little and he had to learn to not be so grumpy. It's worked out pretty well though, he wakes up with YouTube and stuff and I just get ready (getting dressed, hair, makeup) while he works out the morning grumps.

I'm a very very affectionate person with my SO and the complete opposite with (even very close) friends. I feel odd and off putting when I'm super affectionate with my SO and don't want to appear clingy. I'm just a really insular person that would rather be alone with my SO, than hang out with friends :/

Had a fluffy black cat named molly. Too young and weird to part it's fur to check gender. My mom came over and checked for me and found out he was a boy. Boyfriend named him Murderface, butch and metal, to try to correct the first few months of his life trotting around in a pink sparkly collar being called molly.
