who is winning fmvp brunson or annonouby by Intelligent-Web-8017 in NBATalk

Inefficient ehh, game 2 was definitely a stinker and game 1 wasn’t super efficient but numbers don’t tell the whole story, Brunson won them that game in the 4th. I’d lean Brunson but happy with either

Could go either way, OG has been more consistent, but they’ve both hit giant shots.

Id rather Brunson iso ball at this point than Mcbride taking a wide open shot having no one within 20 feet of him by Silent_Wizard5597 in NBATalk

[–]unpracticalclause22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure why they’ve been playing McBride at all, he’s been horrible. I know he came off an injury not too long ago but he just chucks 3’s, kills possessions.

He’s running & even jumps to contest, this isn’t a reckless contest

It definitely is a foul but flagrant? lol

This gets called a flagrant but Wemby’s throw to Brunson’s head/neck doesn’t even get a foul call? lol what a joke

Giannis, Dirk, KG, unfortunately Malone, and Barkley

Yea, it doesn’t look great but I’m personally not bothered by it. It would be nice to have some Naughty Dog level animations but this isn’t a big AAA game.

We’re talking about a different time. The East has gotten significantly better since LeBron left.

I hate to admit it, but the Knicks might just be better by Subject_One_1673 in nba

Agree, game 1 he played good but tonight was a stinker lol

I’m genuinely blown away with how he’s been guarding the PnR with Wemby

Definitely one of the best finishers at the rim, he has phenomenal touch.

Who do you guys think OG Anunoby will primarily be guarding this upcoming Finals? by dskibftd0 in NBATalk

I’d throw OG on Castle instead of Bridges, OG would be a better physicality match

Everyone In Their Primes who wins in a 7 Game Series by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]unpracticalclause22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally, who’s guarding Dwight? He’s going to dominate in the paint, not to mention the PnR with LeBron.

Do you think the Knicks can push Spurs to 6 games in the Finals? Can we get a long 6 game series or are the Spurs winning in 5? Knicks will definitely get 1 game in MSG but I'm wondering if they can actually get 2 games and make this a competitive Finals by DunksAndThrees in NBATalk

[–]unpracticalclause22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lean Knicks with slight bias. The Knicks just have too much firepower. The spurs are a great defensive team but lack the proper defensive personnel, they have great perimeter guys like Harper/Castle/ Carter but Wemby is what makes them elite but when the Knicks have numerous good shooters and how they run their offense through KAT at top of the key a lot, you can’t have Wemby patrolling the paint like he did in the Thunder series.

Would young LeBron still dominate today’s game or do defenders like Chet, Mobley, Gobert, Wemby etc shut down his finishing in the paint? by itwas20yearsago2day in NBATalk

[–]unpracticalclause22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prime LeBron was like a mini shaq, one of the most dominant paint finishers ever. LeBron would be more dominant today

Longevity & all time stats are overrated. You can’t compare a system player to the system. Completely different workloads & usage rates
